Story
Hi there, I’m Hank. Here’s what you need to know about me: I don’t try to make the kids in my class laugh, but somehow I do. Spelling is my worst subject. (Come to think of it, so are math and reading!) I try hard - I really do. So why does my brain always freeze into a popsicle? When Hank hears that his class is putting on a play, he’s the only one who’s not excited. That’s because every time he tries to read the script, his brain swirls, and it feels like his head is filled with soggy oatmeal! Can Hank get his act together and get a part?

Story
Henry Winkler, launched into prominence as “The Fonz” in the beloved Happy Days, has transcended the role that made him who he is. Brilliant, funny, and widely regarded as the nicest man in Hollywood (though he would be the first to tell you that it’s simply not the case, he’s really just grateful to be here), Henry shares in this achingly vulnerable memoir the disheartening truth of his childhood, the difficulties of a life with severe dyslexia, the pressures of a role that takes on a life of its own, and the path forward once your wildest dream seems behind you.

No one is shocked by the six-eyed alien strolling around the Universal back lot. The tourists just think he's part of the show. It doesn't take long for Buddy to land a role on a popular TV show, playing (of course) an alien. He becomes an overnight heartthrob and is suddenly faced with legions of adoring fans, rides in glamorous limos, and appearances at "all-the-shrimp-you-can-eat" red carpet parties. But can Buddy maintain his secret identity while in the spotlight?

Story
What will it take for Mom and Dad to trust Hank to go to the mall unsupervised with his friends? Cooking a family dinner - er, disaster - doesn't exactly say “responsible”. But what if Hank signs up for the school's notorious survival camp and makes it through the whole weekend? Maybe he should factor in being teamed up with his nemesis, McKelty, in a leaky tent, not to mention a desperate search for a cell phone in a field of cow pies.... The amiable character originated by Henry Winkler - inspired by his own childhood - comes to life in a humorous adventure.

This is a good book but it needs more action like if Katherine got out of the apartment somehow and ran free through New York!

Book 3
I'm learning about iguanas and life in Manhattan. Hank is pretty awesome and his learning differences are coming out slowly. The best part about these books are the supporting relationships. Papa Pete is the grandfather every kid needs. Frankie and Ashley understand that Hank is good and smart even if he isn't book smart.
I want to see the moth movie. The book explains this.

Fantastic
My son loves the Hank Zippzer books and he loves Henry Winkler’s narration of them. Our only complaint is that all of the books aren’t on Audible. We’ve gone the old fashioned route and he’s reading the paperbacks of the others. (It’s a miracle because he has trouble focusing for long periods of time. He makes it work for his favorite books.). These books are wonderful.
