i got hooked
Would you consider the audio edition of Deep Wizardry to be better than the print version?
I never read the paper books so I truly have no comparison
What other book might you compare Deep Wizardry to and why?
I might compare it to the harry potter set
Which character – as performed by Christina Moore – was your favorite?
I can't decide who is my favorite nita or kit I love them both equally
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The part where the shark took nita's place in the song was the kindest and sweetest thing that could have happened

My first.
This book was my introduction to this series, way back in the early 200s, and was my favorite in the series until I read Games Wizards Play. It’s still a very close second. As always, Christina Moore’s voice is a delight to listen to.

Concern
I have been a Diane Duane Fan for a long time and it pains me to write a review of concern. This book, while a great story, has a thread of Suicide running through it. Although one could say that it is has a morale basis in self sacrifice, I would say that with suicide so prevalent in today's youth, themes of this nature may not be the most appropriate. Once angain let me stress thati have been a Diane Duane fan and remain so to this day. I love her work, but this one gets a "PG" rating from me.

Already better than the first book!
Young Wizards is a very underrated series that needed to be recognized and loved. I'll admit that the first book was good, but it didn't really wow me as much as I hoped. Thankfully, I pressed on and loved the following books afterward. Rather than going to a dark and alternative New York dimension where everything is trying to kill you, we follow our heroes into the ocean where whales are wizards and there is a giant, ancient shark, while neither is kind nor evil, is very terrifying with his pitiless wisdom (and he has the teeth to back it all up). While intended for children, Diane Duane doesn't shy away from dark things such as the fear of death and honoring your promise, love, and sacrifice.
