Publisher's summary

Can dolls really become haunted? Can demons take possession of people's playthings? According to a large number of paranormal investigators, exorcists, and demonologists, the answer is a resounding yes. Not only are such phenomena possible, they happen fairly often, with dolls being one of the most frequent targets of spirit attachment. Sometimes those spirits are benign, or at the most mischievous. But many are outright evil and dangerous.

This book examines some of the world's most famous haunted dolls. Some you may have heard about. Others will be new. All will make you reconsider the world you thought you knew. Here is some of what you'll find inside:

  • Robert, the haunted doll from Key West. A lot of the information out there about him is wrong. Find out the truth behind the legend. But don't think the truth is any less terrifying.
  • Annabelle, the demonic doll featured in the movies The Conjuring and Annabelle. Find out why the real Annabelle is much, much more frightening.
  • Peggy, the Internet sensation. Why you should think twice before looking at her picture.
  • Find out which doll started as a hoax, turned into a terrifying reality, and is now considered one of the most "active" haunted dolls in the world.
  • Discover which exotic locale and tourist attraction is a pediophobe's biggest nightmare. You won't believe such a place exists.
  • Clown dolls. Need more be said?

These stories and many more are what you'll find in this collection of true accounts from the frightening yet fascinating world of haunted and demonic dolls. Listening to this book will undoubtedly raise more questions than it answers, but one thing is assured: you'll never look at a doll the same again.

Frightening Tales of Doll Hauntings

This book is a fascinating account of well known haunted dolls and the hauntings that occurred around them. This full color e-book does contain photos that you may not want to view along with website information where available. You definitely would not want to own one. Well researched and very informative, like his other haunted Ouija board stories, you will not want to own one. I read this book using immersion reading while listening to it. The narrator was clear and concise. Lovers of the paranormal will enjoy this book.

Creepy More Than Scary

Just a light kind of creepy. Listened on the treadmill. It was not so scary I couldn't read it just fine. I would not have had scary thoughts &, I would not have not have nightmares.
This book DOES have good advice to consider before getting anything paranormal- "haunted, cursed, enchanted or possessed objects," or dolls that move by themselves. You can buy such things on eBay, but unless you want chaos & items (especially keys) being in places you didn't put them, window-shop, or read more bookslike this.

Title does not match the stories at all.

The title doesn't match the stories at all. It should just be called Terrible Toys from EBay. I regret buying this book, and will definitely be returning it for another book, that's actually worth reading, and matches the title.

Same old stories, and poorly written.

You won't find anything new in this book if you love the paranormal. They are all stories that have been told over and over. Also, the author has a habit of starting sentences with "And then" or "So". It doesn't seem to have been written by a professional.
