Publisher's summary

Tired of being chained down to your computer?

Hands hurt from hours of writing?

Looking for a way to dramatically increase your hourly word count?

Want to write 1,000,000 words a year without breaking a sweat?

Sounds a little crazy when you say it out loud. However, this is easier to accomplish than you'd think. Especially when using dictation for all your writing.

Dictation has the power to transform your life whether you're writing a novel, short story, blog post, or paper. Whatever the outlet, dictation can help you increase your productivity levels.

Over the past two years, I've switched over to dictation, and I went from writing about 250,000 words a year to over a million words. If I really wanted to amp things up, I think I could go even higher!

The quickest way to success as a new author is to pump out more quality books on a consistent basis. Many indie novelists try to get a full 100k+ book out every three to six months. Using dictation, you'll be able to hit those goals with ease. You could release something new every month if you really felt inspired.

So what's the secret to getting all this done? Well, dictation on its own, while wonderful, won't write your book for you. You still need to build better writing habits and put in the work.

Hands off!

Any additional comments?

Having this book is like a heaven's sent for me and my father. I was able to tell him the importance of dictation. The apps and the guide are amazing and help. Thankful enough for this! Worth the time.

Basic information, too narrow

Some information was good but Most was not. If you want to know about only 1 of the ways to dictate, this may be helpful, but if you want a more comprehensive approach to dictation, this will not satisfy you. He only talks about using software to dictate as well as the equipment, all basic things you can learn online for free. He gives a few tips for dictating well such as speak slowly, speak in full sentences, and don’t abbreviate words (Kay versus Okay) and not much else.

He never even mentioned that you can dictate directly to a recorder and have it transcribed and what tips there may be for that group of people who are considering going that route instead of dragon or other software.

One good tip was to edit what you’ve dictated on the same day you dictate it. He talked about dictating in “sprints” of 15 minutes to an hour throughout he day.

I wasted a credit on this; may ask for my money back.
