Klimaschutz interessiert Jung und Alt. Junge Menschen interessiert das, weil sie die Gefahr der Zerstörung erkannt haben. Sie wollen ihre kommenden Kinder schützen. Sie möchten ihnen die Schönheiten der Natur noch zeigen. Erwachsene engagieren sich, weil sie die Entfremdung von der Natur schon erlebt haben. Die schlafende Regentrude symbolisiert die von den Menschen im Denken und Handeln nicht mehr berücksichtigte Natur. Die Menschen haben den Kontakt zur Natur verloren. Wenn keine Erdatmosphäre mehr da ist, verschwindet die Erde in einem schwarzen Loch. Die Regentrude sagt: "Die Menschen haben mich vergessen und deshalb bin ich eingeschlafen." Als Künstler wünschen wir uns, dass diese aktuelle Adaption von Margrit Straßburger vielen Eltern die Möglichkeit geben kann, in ihren Kindern das Bewusstsein zu wecken die Natur zu ehren und für ihr Weiterleben zu sorgen. Wenn Kinder ab ca.8 Jahren durch die Allegorie des Feuermanns die brutale Zerstörung der Natur erkennen, ist der erste Schritt getan. Durch die prägnante Stimme von Jens Wawrczeck als Feuermann wird die Gefahr sinnlich fassbar gemacht. Dieser verwandlungsfähige Schauspieler ist zunächst bekannt geworden aus den "Die drei ???". Das Liebespaar Maren und Andreas findet den Weg zur Regentrude, die ihnen erklärt, dass die Menschen sie nicht vergessen dürfen, weil sonst der Feuermann die Gewalt hat. Auf diesem Weg muss das Liebespaar Hindernisse überwinden. Am Ende singen alle das Erweckungslied der Regentrude. Das ist eine Besonderheit dieses Hörspiels. Kinder nehmen über die Form Märchens mehr auf als über pädagogische Lehren. Die Musik hilft immer Herzen zu öffnen und die Wahrnehmung zu stärken. Das Erweckungslied wird in verschiedenen musikalischen Formen variiert und dient somit auch als Unterstützung, die Figuren zu unterscheiden. Die von uns erfundene Melodie zur Erweckung der Regentrude ist ein Ohrwurm und kann auf jeder Straße gesungen werden. Viel Spaß bei diesem Hörerlebnis mit Musik und Gesang.
