About this listen

Surviving a werewolf attack should’ve been the strangest thing to happen to me tonight. But no, the universe had other plans.

Now, I’m stuck dealing with a broodingly hot guy named Wesley St. John—who seems way too comfortable with murder. Definitely a red flag, right?

Wes isn’t just some guy I stumbled upon—he’s a protector, but not the friendly kind. His job is to keep the supernatural world in check, and my ignorance is making things complicated. But here’s the kicker: Wes and his secrets might just be the key to uncovering who I really am.

Because everything I thought I knew? Total lie.

Werewolves are real. And it turns out, I wasn’t born to fall for the most dangerous one of all—I was born to kill him.

This set includes the first 4 books in the bestselling young adult shifter romance series. Packed with swoon-worthy romance, enthralling mystery, and twists that you won’t see coming, Dirty Blood by Heather Hildenbrand is a must-listen for fans of shifters and young adult urban fantasy. Don’t miss this captivating series that will leave you listening long past bedtime!

Review

I really enjoyed the story. What made it hard to keep listening is the narrators voice, it was so whiny for my liking.

McKenzie Hunter's Sky Brooks series meets Twiligh.

Update:. Book two had the predictable dating drama I predicted, but it actually got good at the end and left me looking forward to book three. So I'm giving the story 4 stars for now. And the narator is either getting more fluid or I'm getting used to her.

If the brief amount of erotic thoughts were cut out, this series would make a prety good kids book. Then I would give it five stars instead of thee. The story is too predictable. In book one, it was easy to tell they were both going to have the same predicaments (trying not to spoil it totally). Right now I'm several hours into the second book and I can tell the author has set it up for the boyfriend at home to get jealous over one of the two boys that are being nice to her at school, and she's already starting to get confused. Even though we all now she will end up with her soul mate at home. I have only read one book where the author didn't use this same jealous scenario, and I left her a very jenous compliment on her Facebook page because I enjoyed reading a book that didn't follow the romantic stereotype. I'll change my review later if I'm wrong about the jealous boyfriend prediction. The narator takes getting used to. She tries to pronounce every word perfectly and it comes of sounding a bit choppy. Reminds me of listening to the chipmunks. The narator also has a hard time having unique voices for each character. If the narator is new, then I guess she's doing ok and will get better. I'll try to remember to update this when finally finish the series.

definitely juvenile drama

I really don't know if I can make it to the end. I wish it was tagged as juvenile paranormal I probably wouldn't have wasted the credit. narrator voice got on my nerves very quickly.

Made my crazy

I like the story I hate the main chick role. She is stupid I have never been so mad about a book before. I hope she dies in the fifth book.

written by a child

inconsistencies in story line, and characters are really unintelligent and weak. the writing will make you think of children's animae in its extreme cheesyness. not to mention the entire set is a monolog of one character.very boring and not worth your time if you're looking for an actual adult book to hold your interest should you have an i.q higher than 10.
