Publisher's summary

Through some personal turmoil, I've managed to salvage the best of my life, but not until after it was all ripped away by one man's ignorance and greed as 20 federal agents ascended on my Manhattan apartment in the early hours of the morning.

Disclaim and Disclose is the true story of how my early childhood and deceptive business associate landed my name on the top of a securities criminal indictment stemming from a Panamanian drug cartel investigation. Determined and on the elusive hunt for love, I found myself surrounded by the financial arena's acquisitive players and their fury for cold hard cash. Everything I had worked so hard for, including my reputation, was now desecrated as my name was being negatively scrawled across the top of national news headlines. To make matters worse, I was now facing a possible 30 years in prison.

Holy smokes-What a crazy, wild ride!!

*WARNING* This is a very sexually explicit story and also includes drugs, etc. If you're easily offended by these things or just prefer cleaner, more family friendly stories, this is NOT the book for you.

Disclaim and Disclose by Brad Susser is a super fun, wild adventure that will keep you listening until you're finished. Seriously. This story sucks you in and doesn't let up until the crazy end. So much going on and so much fun. I don't even know where to begin. This is the wild story of Brad Susser and his (mis)adventures in the financial field and love life. I found the story of his getting mixed up with the SEC and how all of this craziness evolved to get him to that point fascinating. You'll want to shake Brad throughout the book as he makes some crazy business decisions with some shady people and some terrible decisions with the women in his life. The decisions that he makes regarding the various women in his life will likely leave you shaking your head and wondering what in the world he was thinking. What can I say? It's legit just a fun listen and I enjoyed it!

Brad narrating his own story was a good choice. He read clearly and with good cadence. There are some parts where there seem to be some pauses that don't really flow as well, but it didn't take away from the story. If this was his first attempt at narration, it was a pretty good job! I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher for an honest review.

A relatable memoir

Don't be misled by the title of the book. While the story is mostly about stocks, sex, deception and injustice; it's a highly relatable memoir with tales of a dying family, addiction, marriage problems, depression, caring for a child and the effect these have on a person. Some excerpts seemed a bit unbelievable to me like the sex scenes and I feel it may have been inserted in to give it more of a Wolf of Wall Street kind of appeal. If my assumption is true, I hope this doesn't result in readers not believing the rest of the story.

I love that the audiobook is narrated by the author because he really brings his own emotions of his story to the fore. I also like that he was able to change his voice for the various characters in his life. It also helps that I loved the New York accent.

Once I finished the book, I realised it's a story of resilience and I really hope things look up for Brad and that this is made into a movie or series.

Not for the faint of heart

Pretty incredible story but also very interesting. Got kinda techincal at times. Made me realize how blessed I am to have such a quiet life, hehe.

The author does the narration on this audiobook and I gotta say it does give the story a very believable feel. One little thing though the sound was kind of muffled overall. That’s not on the narrator but more on the quality of the recording.

This guy is a survivor!

This is a very compelling narrative of a man who was screwed by a lot of people but shows amazing resilience.
In business and love he met up with some real characters. Wow!

I love that he narrated his work, not least of all because he sounds a bit like Woody Allen :)
But it makes his story more believable than if someone else tried to capture his emotions.

Very interesting and I wish him all the best going forward.

Brad- please find a decent woman- you deserve one!!!

I was given this book by the author at no charge in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine. Thank you!

An interesting read for the brave!!!

I love how Bradley's story is synonymous with American heroes like Aaron Swartz. Fighting for the right to your dreams and those of others but being in constant war with those that are in power. I recommend this book to anyone who's not afraid to chase their dreams despite insurmountable odds.

An incredible story

First off, let me say I was blown away by this audiobook. For one, I like the fact the author is the narrator and throughout the book you hear him imitate various characters which really brings those individuals to life, from Nacho, Alexandra.and a number of other zany characters. Most other authors/publishers hire out their own narrators which to me, especially in this genre, really does the listener a disservice in my opinion.

Secondly the book covers numerous topics. In other words, almost everyone can relate to a dying family member, taking care of a child, relationship issues, love, depression etc. and these topics are all touched upon. Having said that there are things many of us can’t relate too. I will not go into those as I don't want to spoil the story by giving away too much.

The book has so many incredible stories within the story I can easily see it becoming a series or movie. I can honestly say that while driving into work I couldn't wait until the end of the day to hear the rest of Brads uncanny yet incredible story. I highly recommend this book:)

Injustice

Bradley Susser has had bad luck from heartache, rotten associates, and getting screwed from the justice system. This story is made me cry, laugh, angry, but it made me cheer for the little guy that gets the short end of the stick but triumphs over all.
I loved having the author narrate his own story it made it more personable and believable. The language was truthful and real. I loved it. Bradley went through hell but it definitely made him a better man. Congratulations
