Publisher's summary

Ever since George Lucas made the announcement he sold his production company Lucasfilm Ltd. to The Walt Disney Company, people everywhere have been speculating on what will happen in the upcoming sequel trilogy Episodes VII, VIII, and IX. Along with the trilogy standalone spinoff films focused on characters such as Yoda, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. More points of interest will be the upcoming animated series Star Wars: Rebels for The Disney Channel and Disney XD, along with the planned live action series for ABC. Whether these predictions are right or not, they will be of interest to Star Wars fans.

JJ Abrams Has Already Rebooted Star Trek

What would have made Disney's Star Wars Reboot better?

If to convey my disappointment, I would flippantly say that the only thing that would've made this book better was if it had never been written. But, I won't be so crass. The author could've considered works in the larger Star Wars Universe as a basis then try to imagine what JJ Abrams would do and not just narrowly considering that everything and anything Stars Wars was in Episodes 1 - 6 and that JJ Abrams is going to be unoriginal and just retell the same story with only slight variations.

Has Disney's Star Wars Reboot turned you off from other books in this genre?

The prediction genre is not the problem. It's just the author's narrow view of Star Wars and lack of imagination. After reading this utter disappointment, it would be hard to even consider any other Justin Murphy work.

Would you be willing to try another one of Christian Carvajal’s performances?

Sure.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Not a single one.

Any additional comments?

Save your money… If you've read or listened to any of the other Star Wars book series, you'll be annoyed with this book.
