Story
Paul Gallo saw the report on the news: a mass murderer leading police to his victims' graves in remote Dread's Hand, Alaska. It's not even a town; more like the bad memory of a town. The same bit of wilderness where his twin brother went missing a year ago. As the bodies are exhumed, Paul travels to Alaska to get closure and put his grief to rest. But the mystery is only beginning. What Paul finds are superstitious locals who talk of the devil stealing souls, and a line of wooden crosses to keep what's in the woods from coming out.

If you think the only thing Ellison writes is speculative fiction, craziness about giant cockroaches that attack Detroit, or invaders from space who look like pink eggplant and smell like chicken soup, this dynamite novel of the emergent days of rock and roll will turn you around at least three times. No spaceships, no robots, just a nice kid from Louisville named Stag Preston with a voice like an angel, seductive moves like the devil, and an invisible monkey named Success riding him straight to hell.

Its violent, sordid past is what draws best-selling author David Masters to the infamous Victorian mansion called Baudey House. Its shrouded history of madness and murder is just the inspiration he needs to write his ultimate masterpiece of horror. But what waits for David and his 16-year-old daughter, Amber, at Baudey House, is more terrifying than any legend.

Story
Kid Centrifuge is a rock band with dreams no bigger than other rock bands: ho-hum, tour and get signed and be famous and change the universe. Alas, unlike their rock-music forebears, our heroes live in a world that has largely moved on to techno, dance and pop. Yes, the music industry is still littered with double-crossers and backbiters, but now they're looking for DJs, and maybe guitar champions need no longer apply.

Story
The son of a classical pianist straight out of the Bronx of old Archie comics, Steven Tyler was born to be a rock star. Weaned on Cole Porter, Nat King Cole, Mick and his beloved Janis Joplin, Tyler began tearing up the streets and the stage as a teenager before finally meeting his "mutant twin" and legendary partner, Joe Perry. In this addictively listenable memoir, Tyler unabashedly recounts the meteoric rise, fall, and rise of Aerosmith over the last three decades and riffs on the music that gives it all meaning.

Fun Collection of Unique Stories
I enjoyed this collection of short stories. It reads like a cohesive collection, full of unique stories. A good amount of the stories are written by Staci Layne Wilson, but there are some other authors included, as well as a story from each narrator. Overall, I thought every story in this was well-written and easy to follow. Some were longer than others, and I generally liked the longer ones the most (mainly because I got into these and wished the shorter ones had lasted longer).
One of my favorite stories is the story about the fish-women (“We Will Stalk You”). I felt like that was fun and unique (and beautifully creepy). This is written by Staci Layne Wilson. Staci writes well, and I also particularly enjoyed another story in here, where there is a woman who is a black widow (“Do Ya Think I’m Stabby?”).
I also enjoyed hearing the narrators’ narrate their own work, and I found their stories unique as well. I enjoyed Graydon Schlichter’s “She’s a Killer, Dean” and LeeAnne Rowe’s “Comfortably Dumb.” Graydon includes vivid imagery in his work, and it’s fun to hear him bring his own work to life. I feel like there is a lot of depth to LeeAnne’s story. After reading it, I felt like the story really spoke to how people can go to desperate lengths to feel again or to add some excitement to their lives. For some reason, that story was one of the most horror-inducing for me personally. I felt like that story was such a reflection of society as a whole and how disconnected we can be, not just from each other but also from ourselves.
I will be honest in saying that I generally zone out during author biographies, but I actually listened to those this time. It was fun to get an insight into the people who made the stories.
Overall, I had a lot of fun with these stories!

Do You Fear Like We Do
This is a nice collection of spooky tales that revolve around the music of the 70’s. Each one has engaging characters and an interesting plot. It was nice to see that all the stories had different plots and were not all about someone selling their soul for fame and fortune. While that can be done well and is done well in this collection, I am glad that there was a plethora of ideas included in these stories. I found many a new author to enjoy and will be looking for more from them as well as more collections like this one. Narrators Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson did a good job of pulling this listener into each world and keeping me entertained.

Narration was solid. A few of the stories were entertaining, some, not so much.
