About this listen
Out of all of the animals living in the water, dolphins are considered to be one of the smartest. Dolphins are known as aquatic mammals, meaning they are warm-blooded animals that live partly or entirely in water. Since they live in the ocean, they are also considered to be marine mammals.
While dolphins are found in several different colors, the majority of them are grey with a dark-colored back and a white belly. Different breeds of dolphins are found to be black and white, and even on rare occasions, you can find pink dolphins like the ones that live in the Amazon river.
Dolphins have rather large brains; in fact, next to a human’s brain, the dolphin’s brain is considered the second most powerful. They use their large brains to solve problems, analyze information, and manage their survival in the wild.
These are just some of the fun facts found inside Dolphin Trivia: Fun Facts About Dolphins for Kids. The audiobook is actually divided up into seven main chapters, with the trivia presented in all different formats, including:
- Question and Answer Dolphin Trivia

Cats are also just as intelligent, if not even more intelligent than dogs are. I'm not going to lie, I have always been "team dog" over "team cat"...but, after researching cats to write this audiobook, I may have just changed my mind. They are truly an incredible species. And, there are so many different kinds! From domesticated pet cats to stray cats, and from feral cats to big, wild cats, it's almost amazing that they are all even considered to be in the same family.

A list of the attributes that define a mammal is a ragbag of things - fur, live birth, three bones in the middle ear, a brain whose two halves are robustly joined together.... But this curious collection of features contain the roots of all the biology that makes us what we are: monkeys with massive brains who parent extensively, enjoy sport and think lots. Which is to say, what makes us mammals makes us human.
