About this listen
Could you love something so hideous and offensive that it made you ill to look at it?
If you travel to a little dive called Violet's Tavern in Pasadena, you are apt to hear that question from Violet herself.
But whatever you do, don't give her an answer. And don't tell her your sins. Especially after closing time.

Crazy Old Violet
This little short story by Terry M. West is about a dive bar in Stinkadena (Pasadena) and the bartender owner Violet, who likes to tell scary stories and scare her patrons, she is kinda off her self as is the main character Russell, I wish the story was a bit longer, and it kinda ends abruptly
The team of Bryan L. Anderson & Sonya Anderson due a good job of narrating. I was provided a free copy audiobook and this is my voluntary unbiased review

Miracles
This short novella really packs a creepy punch. The story has drama, suspense, horror, and creepy creatures. I really enjoyed this thrill ride of a plot it kept me entertained and intrigued. I really love the plot twists at the end you won't see it coming. I received this book from an audiobook website. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own free will.

The Monsters do Come Out at Night
One of the things I like about Terry M. West is that his stories are all quite unique and differ greatly from each other. While they all are in the horror genre, they sometimes feel like a different person is writing them. Something I truly enjoy about his writing and so that is why I constantly come back to him for more. This one wasn't my favorite. I don't think the ending was enough to justify the entire story and I found it lacking a bit. Interesting, but I think it might have been better off slightly longer so that you were more invested in it. Once it ended I kinda shrugged and said, ok, and carried on with my day.
The narrators did a good job. I liked the back and forth between them as they each voiced the opposite sex. I preferred Bryan a bit more than Sonya because his narration seemed to flow better whereas I thought Sonya’s cadence was a bit choppy and didn't sound like true conversation. Collectively they did a great job and I really like to hear narrations done this way as I think it really helps with the characters and brings the story that much more to life.

Not bad
This short story is very vanilla. I did find it interesting or uninteresting. Not good and not bad. Definitely not scary. It’s ok but that’s all.

It’s okay
It’s an okay short creepy campfire story; but not quite horror.
The two - narrators could have worked but the female just didn’t quite help it ...

Don't The Monsters All Get Scarier At Closing Time
I am reviewing the audiobook version of the book. I could barely get through this short story. The performances were not good. I may try and read the story later and update the review, but it wasn't anything special so I am not clamoring to get my hands on the ebook.
