Book 10

The excitement continues for these books...... they are more like short stories but that’s ok. Amel does not know where to go or what to do to save her friends and complete her mission. More action continued as the characters navigate more challenges. Continuing on to the next book!

Dragon school

Another good episode, things are heating up, and getting more intense with each book. I thought by now the narrator would grow on me, but she hasn’t.

Unexpected...

Trapped in a cavern that was supposed to be sanctuary, traitors in their midst and enemies pounding at the door.... Death taking its toll as dragons must fight and flee in the last place you would expect them to be..... Their numbers declining and injuries mounting, Amel and Raolcan guard what may bell be the two most important people in the world from enemies within and without. Another amazing book in an amazing arc.... Ms. Wilson has done it again...

A dark read!

It’s always blackest before the dawn...

Wow...things are heating up - a traitor is the mist and the demons are after them. Such an incredible story and a fantastic addition to the series.

One problem: I have mentioned it before but it became dominant in this book again: the MC is really annoying at times. At times, she really is likable and enjoyable.

The writing is amazing and addicting! The world is complex and fascinating.

Full of dragons, dragon riders, secrets, ancient prophecies, enemies, loyalty, battle, darkness, evil, action, hope, survival, trust, danger and suspicion.

Perfect for readers of fantasy romance.

Lovely narration.

The story creeps forward

Episode, not book. Maybe a section. You can't step into this story mid-stream. Get the set or don't bother. Patel will make you want to search for a paper copy and have your kids read it to you.

Most Intense Installment Yet!

This book takes a turn for the crazy and intense in battles and politics that keep you locked in throughout the entire story. The intensity is so strong that you don’t know how Amel will get out of this difficult situation. Though Wilson puts her in an impossible situation, her solution is rather brilliant and flows together with the plot line flawlessly. The final pages are crazy and full of unexpected twists that give you no option but to continue on to see what will happen next. My only critique is Amel’s whining. She starts whining about the dumbest things. I know she is growing into herself and discovering who she wants to be, but she really shows her young age and naivety. It isn’t overwhelming, but still enough to distract me from some of the situations she’s in.
