About this listen

One more step toward vengeance, but another toward war.

Alexandra's dungeon has finally been discovered. As news of her existence ripples through the world, empires and kingdoms take notice… and prepare for war.

Her isolated dungeon sits between two nations with a rivalry centuries in the making, and neither is willing for the other to control the powerful dungeon that could link their war-torn nations. The Republic will do whatever it takes to enslave her, even if it means an all-out invasion.

For Alexandra to keep her freedom, she'll have to form a questionable alliance with a pair of former enemy adventurers, all while preparing for a secret war of her own. While the humans squabble in the light, she is building an army in the dark.

She will be no one's pawn, and she intends to use her new powers and superior forces to find her friends and get vengeance on the ones who took them.

Good story and wonderful narration

I'm really enjoying the story and the performance really brings it to life. It sometimes feels a bit jarring though with the fast and constant rate of perspective shifts. I love the authors take on dungeon core! Her avatars and ability to interact with ither really brings her to life. But I wish we got to see more revolutionary innovations from the MC. Overall, it's a wonderful story and I'm looking forward to seeing what awaits in the next book !

A good dungeon core

A good dungeon core with a likeable mc. It just takes a bit to get to the dungeon core part but its great after that.

tasteful dance between the 2 storylines

Has been seen in the first book There is a lesbian storyline it's done tastefully and as the book progresses it has become more and more Central stage At the same time it's not affecting the main story or overpowering in its intensity The main story is engaging well not being drowned out by this story

Stupid nitpicky reviews

I don’t know why people are leaving stupid 2 star reviews about this book. It is literally a direct continuation of the story. If you like what the first book established you will keep liking how the second book carries on. The book is mainly focused on the establishment of the guild town and the first interactions between the dungeon on the delvers so in some respects it’s a bit slow since it’s more of a set up book then an action and change book, but that’s not unusual in long book series.

Interesting

Interesting think that the story is interesting enough. I feel that the other reviews at this time are overly negative.

Enjoyable

I enjoyed this 2nd books and am looking forward to book 3. I don’t understand the other overly negative reviews.

There is no sex and no overly adult scenes. There is dungeon building. There is political situations, there is town building. Overall I think it’s a good continuation.

Politics

Hours and hours of imaginary politics. This was way too much for me. If you like fictional politics told from multiple perspectives, you might like it. I like crafting, fighting, and dungeon building in my dungeon novels.

Reactive writing at its worst.

A super disappointment from the first book. This addition creates a really poorly justified antagonist group that always had whatvis convenient for the moment. I think this wad just a place holder for inspiration but I am not confident enough to try the next book. Removing from my wishlist.

MC is barely in it

This is basically a love story between two side characters every main character is in a great position but their incompetence leads them to all their problems. The advisor waits to the last minute to give any useful information. MC barely does anything the whole book just builds random weapons that maybe work.

Boring

First off this book is obscenely boring where is the "Dungeon Core" and "Engineering" stuff that's in the blurbs you keep advertising because there's none. Whenever Alex even comes up with a idea it's "That's overkill" or "too expensive"
And Alya why is she even getting POVs? 1/3rd of this story is literally her POV and she adds literally nothing. She's a terrible leader, can't make decisions and is wrong about everything who the hell even put her in charge. But that's okay because we really need to know pyns breast are really big and she looks cute naked 3 times in each of her chapters because why?. I'm dropping this book here it's damn near False advertisement you need to change the title of this book because there's nothing about what you described in the blurb or on the title I just sat through 10hrs of grown women blushing at each other and a super military soldier that's also a engineer talk about the good ol times but do absolutely nothing but think her advisor is cute. Like what?

--edit--.. I want to say i loved the first book but where is the actual plot going to take off? Heres the blurb of the first book -They thought sacrificing her would further their own goals. Instead, they changed an engineer into the single most powerful fabricator in existence, a dungeon core.- and- transforming Alexandra into a dungeon core, they inadvertently give her the power to bring back technology long since thought lost in this world. With it, she'll make the Order pay and avenge the friends they've taken from her..-

Like when the hell is any of this actually going to happen???? We didnt get a single POV or update from any of the survivors like we did in the last book did YOU the author forget they exist or something? Im saying this because we got at least 2 chapters last book about them and Alex at least thinking about them and her situation this book the only time she thought about her "Friends" is when she was comparing the fire mage to that pyromaniac chick. so once again 10hrs and NOTHING in this book happened. I just checked amazon and it has 4books and on the 4th book she finally decides to leave the desert? Biggest bait and switchof a book ive ever read and listened to...Disappointing
