Publisher's summary

The easy part was getting in. The hard part will be surviving until the end.

Ray thought he was through the worst the game had to offer. I mean, lich kings, vampires, and the dark one himself? Boy was he wrong.

Potential new enemies are about to storm the gates. Lands need exploring and evil cultists' heads need chopping.

Because when the horn bellows for a hero, people like you and Ray answer. Hone that imagination, grab your dice, and get ready, this one is going to be a doozy. Start listening today!

So much FUN!!!

Moooooore!!! I love ant more! I’ll be off to buy a credit from Audible so I can start the next t story. The magic system works, the world is vibrant and the characters are engaging. Really enjoy the narration. I love this World that has been created. Keep them coming. Rally curious where they’ll take Nari’s character.

Great story but a bit awkward at times

I like these books and the performance by Adam Gold is spectacular if I had to complain about anything it’s that sometimes the author makes the mc overreact or react to situations really dramatically when it’s not necessary. Nothing big just things that bug me but still these books are good!

Modern references

I absolutely loved the modern references to movies and other video games. Most were referred to and clarified in the book. I did notice one from a video game (Elder Scrolls, Skyrim) that they did not clarify in chapter 8, about 5 minutes in..that one cracked me up!

So great if you liked the first book you would like the book. Ths is pretty great. BUT this is only one of 7 books, so when you buy it you have to buy it because it is so great!

THIS is just my opinion I just like it so when you bought it and if you hate it then do not blame! I will warn you could hate it!

Really like this series

I am listening to this with my son who is a gamer and he also enjoys it! You can imagine that it is you in the game and that is fun too. Only one slight is that it takes a minute to get used to the performers voice but once you do, he becomes the characters.

Great litrpg

just recently I've gotten into these I have to say that there are some that aren't that well and there are some that are extremely well. the he who fights Monsters series is on par with this series so if you like that you would like this as well

I’m surprised I like these books…

I’m 58 and not into gaming. That’s why I was surprised I really like this series.
Because it is set in a game ANYTHING can happen, and does.
What I like most is the imagination of the writers.
I can follow the story and believe (within Fantasy) all the characters can exist in the world together.
Considering anything can happen, the writers don’t simply throw anything out there. There is structure and it flows.
I can’t wait for the next book.
