Publisher's summary
EASTER BASKET MURDER by LESLIE MEIER: Tinker's Cove businesses are clashing over a new Easter Basket-themed promotion to boost in-store sales. When the one-of-a-kind art piece is stolen, it's up to part-time reporter Lucy Stone to investigate three struggling entrepreneurs who stick out in the local scene. But a huge town scandal comes into focus when a harmless shopping spree turns deadly, leaving Lucy to stop a murderer from springing back into action . . .
DEATH BY EASTER EGG by LEE HOLLIS: As Bar Harbor's annual egg hunt approaches, Island Food & Spirits columnist and restaurateur Hayley Powell is thrilled to introduce her grandson, Eli, to local springtime traditions. Keeping up with a rambunctious toddler isn't always sunshine and rainbows—especially when a decadent peanut butter treat kills the Easter bunny himself! Now it's up to Hayley to crack the clues and scramble deadly plans before it's too late . . .
HOPPED ALONG by BARBARA ROSS: Julia Snowden's Easter Sunday at Windsholme looks like it's been borrowed from the pages of a lifestyle magazine. But when a dead body is discovered in the garden—then vanishes soon after without any explanation—an innocent hunt for eggs becomes a dangerous hunt for answers. Julia must find out if April Fool's Day came early or if she's caught in a killer's twisted game . . .

As if baking holiday cookies, knitting a sweater for her husband, and making her daughter’s angel costume for the church pageant weren’t enough things for Lucy Stone’s busy Christmas schedule, she’s also working nights at the famous mail-order company Country Cousins. But when she discovers Sam Miller, its very wealthy founder, dead in his car from an apparent suicide, the sleuth in her knows something just doesn’t smell right.

Story
Single mom Hayley Powell is barely keeping her leaking roof over her head in Bar Harbor, Maine, when her boss at the Island Times gives her a new assignment - taking over the paper's food column. Hayley's not sure she has the chops - she's an office manager, not a writer, even if her friends clamor for her mouth-watering potluck dishes. But the extra income is tempting, and Hayley's chatty first column is suddenly on everyone's menu - with one exception.

Story
Part-time reporter Lucy Stone is writing a piece for the Courier about four Irish step dancing students from Tinker's Cove on the cusp of making it big. Disappointing
I have read all of the Lucy Stone books. It seems like this book has current day issues/politics thrown into the story line. I want to read for pleasure not to hear someone’s political views I will definitely have to consider buying any more of this series.

Disappointing
Not a fan of narrator. Leslie Meier story felt disjointed - a previously deceased character was alive now!
