Wanted: Bride. Must love children. Mortals need not apply.

Carlos Panterra is looking for a mate, a woman who will love and care for the young orphans he's recently taken under his wing (or paw, as the case may be). When the shape shifter spies the beautiful Caitlyn, it's like sunshine amidst the darkness. At last, he's found the perfect woman, except...

Caitlyn Whelan is mortal. Worse, her father is the head of a CIA agency bent on hunting the undead. Still, Caitlyn knows that Carlos is the man for her, shape shifter or not. So she jumps at the chance when her sister offers her a job to work with him, determined to show Carlos their attraction is more than just animal magnetism. But danger lurks in the night, and their unleashed, untamed passion might just get them both killed....

Out of all the Karen Sparks vampire books

This was my least favorite, to much happening. I guess I'm used to the vampires

Good book; only one complaint

I am loving this series! The only thing that is driving me nuts is the author’s massive overuse of “shot/gave/giving her a ——- look.” I need her to switch from “she gave him a wry look” to something like “she looked at him wryly.” Adverbs are good!

Great story!

Funny and engaging story with lots of sizzle. Performance was good but made the characters sound ditzy not my favorite but good.

Narrator a disappointment

The story had great potential except the narrator’s voice pitch was so high the entire book sounded like it was narrated by a 9 year old. Extremely distracting. This narrator should read children’s books and not adult themed ones. Quite disappointing.

liked it!

This is a basic feel good paranormal romance, but I really liked the main characters. They were amusing and I would enjoy reading more stories about them.

Lots of Laughs

There was a nice story line to this book and it was one of the funniest in the series.

Love the series

I love the whole series! When I can’t find a new book I go through the series again. But I wish they would stay with the same Narrated the first Narrated one. It was a little hard getting used to this Narrated

Reader was not up to par!!!

What did you like best about Eat Prey Love? What did you like least?

The story itself was very good and I really like the series. The reader sounded like a little girl, therefore she spoiled the story for me.

What did you like best about this story?

I like that Shanna and her sister found each other again.

What didn’t you like about Gia St. Claire’s performance?

I didn't like her performance. I think she should stick to children or very young adult books.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

A more mature reader would have helped.

Any additional comments?

I'm sorry but 500 plus year old vampires should not sound like little girls! It really helps listeners when you have good and consistent reader performances. It really sucks to find a good series and have a major disappointment with the reader performance.
