About this listen

Gotrek & Felix Book 10

A chance encounter with an old friend in Marienburg leads Gotrek & Felix into a dangerous encounter with sinister dark elf slavers who threaten the northern coast of the Empire.

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

This volume in the Slayer's adventures sees the long-awaited return of Max Schrieber, a new love interest for Felix and the duo's first encounter with the deadly dark elves of Naggaroth!

THE STORY

Gotrek and Felix: unsung heroes of the Empire, or nothing more than common thieves and murderers? The truth perhaps lies somewhere in between, and depends entirely upon whom you ask…

Gotrek and Felix reluctantly travel to Marienburg to fulfil a last request from Felix's dying father. However, a chance meeting with their old acquaintance, Max Schreiber, sends them in a different direction entirely and right into the heart of danger. The Imperial wizard has been sent north to investigate some disturbing magical phenomena off the northern coast of the Empire. Pretty soon, the heroic duo and their companions find themselves caught up in a new adventure, fighting for their lives against the dark elves!

Written by Nathan Long. Read by Jonathan Keeble. Running time is 11 hours and 33 minutes (approx).

felix and his family

it's just so poorly executed. it's pathetic the way it's done as everything felix does continues to literally save the world. and it continues thru the future books. And how he's cowed by his beother, which is really dumb.

Another classic

Jonathan keeble is the definitive voice of gotrek. He makes some interesting choices with the dark elf characters but nevertheless, another instant classic.

Another masterpiece, in my opinion.

I could listen to this man narrate white noise and I would enjoy it. He really brings the story to life! Easily my favorite narrator out there

A stunning return to form.

I think it’s fair to say that after William King was replaced by Nathan Long, the Felix & Gotrek stories started to feel a bit tired, and I was starting to feel like it was high time Gotrek found his Mighty Doom and the pair of them were gracefully retired. This caper, however, is Long’s best by far, worthy of William King’s glory days. It is hugely helped by the return of Greyseer Thanquol, the Skaven Dick Dastardly of Warhammer, as petty and incompetent as ever. The narrator does a sterling job as usual.

Another great read in this series! Loads of fun and laughs. The story just keeps getting better. Jonathan Keeble continues to do them Justice.
