Story
In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir. A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and now grieved. Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, lay in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them.

Story
Sydney Shaw, like every single woman in New York, has terrible luck with dating. She’s seen it all: men who lie in their dating profile, men who stick her with the dinner bill, and worst of all, men who can't shut up about their mothers. But finally, she hits the jackpot. Her new boyfriend is utterly perfect. He's charming, handsome, and works as a doctor at a local hospital. Sydney is swept off her feet. Then the brutal murder of a young woman—the latest in a string of deaths across the coast—confounds police. The primary suspect? A mystery man who dates his victims before he kills them.

The plane is jam-packed. Every seat is taken. So of course the flight is delayed! Flight attendant Allegra Patel likes her job—she’s generally happy with her life, even if she can’t figure out why she hooks up with a man she barely speaks to—but today is her twenty-eighth birthday. She can think of plenty of things she’d rather be doing than placating a bunch of grumpy passengers.

Good social skills bring more opportunities!
I have a teen brother, and we’re 12 years apart. I didn’t think we were that different, but the way we socialize now is so different from when I was a teen! This book really helped me understand how to better communicate with him. It’s full of practical tips on building confidence and social skills, which I can now use to help guide him and even practice with him.

Very helpful
I listened to this with my daughter and we both found it to be very on point and exactly what teens need to hear these days. Following Covid, kids lost a lot of their social skills and became much more introverted and insecure. This audiobook does a beautiful job of lifting them up and powering them giving them self-confidence and getting them ready to go out and have a wonderful life. I especially liked the parts that focused on friendships and communication.

Social skills for teens AND adults
This audiobook teaches skills aimed at teens, but these are skills that can be used by adults as well. I was hoping to find an audiobook I can share with the teens in my family, but the topics covered were also resonating with me. It’s an empowering guide that can help build confidence, form genuine friendships, and embrace your individuality. I loved how relatable and encouraging it was—perfect for anyone who feels invisible in social situations. Highly recommended for boosting self-expression and personal growth.
