Publisher's summary

Ever since his abduction by the Eternal Order of Vampires, Gray Donohue has finally found his true calling: vengeance. He will stop at nothing to bring his fellow Impure vampires the freedom they deserve. Now if he could just release his primal need for the beautiful vampire who saved his life-and rules his thoughts and desires....

After nearly killing the senator she was assigned to protect, Dillon is now in mortal danger. The jaguar within her has been unleashed, and she can no longer control it. Sex is the only thing that can tame her shift. And Gray is the only man who can make her surrender to a passion strong enough to overpower her inner beast. But she doesn't want to surrender - she wants her life back. Because she is determined never to belong to anyone, especially not Gray - the man who destiny claims is her mate.

Ready for it to end by the middle of the book

For some reason I just couldn't get into this book. I didn't particularly care for the two main characters or the plot. The story was a little disjointed and seemed to stop and start a lot. The issues between the Gray and Dylan became a little annoying and monotonous. Also, new characters seemed to appear from no where, maybe trying to set up further books.

The first three books in the series were okay and showed some potential, but this one fell short for me. I think this is probably the last book I will get in the series.

I listened Twice

If you could sum up Eternal Beast in three words, what would they be?

The first time it didn't stick

Would you be willing to try another book from Laura Wright? Why or why not?

I like the world she writes about, but this book rambled a bit

What does Tavia Gilbert bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Tavia is the reason I choose this book. What a VOICE!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

He has ideals - she is a cat. Can they find love?

FIVE STARS!!!!! : Eternal Beast: A Must Read

Five Stars: This story about these brothers just get better with each book. My review is short and simple. You just want to know whether or not you should listen to this audible.... right? Of course I'm right, because that is all I would want to know. If you like reading romance stories without all the cat and mouse chase, this is the story to read. Gray the male character in the story, voice performed by Tavia Gilbert is exceptionally good. This story I could listen to over and over again and would not get bored.

My Favorite Book

What did you love best about Eternal Beast?

I loved the relationship between Dylan and Gray. The progression, their fight to make it works, how it evolves in the end. It's their relationship that made this book my favorite in the series, so far.

What did you like best about this story?

The constanst fighting between Dylan and Gray. They agrue like an old married couple.

Which character – as performed by Tavia Gilbert – was your favorite?

Since Tavia is my favorite narrator, I enjoyed all the characters she performed, but I have always liked her Lucian character.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I think i did listen to it in one sitting and then re-listen to it again.

Tavia Gilbert made me finish it! More story needed

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Readers of this genre like erotic and romantic sex scenes, however there are too many sex scenes not enough story or battles and they are CRUDE.

Would you ever listen to anything by Laura Wright again?

Yes, if she will start listening to her readers, add more story, take out the C words and P word in the sex scenes. She should read Jeanine Frost, Diane Duvall and Deborah Harkness.

Which character – as performed by Tavia Gilbert – was your favorite?

Dee

Any additional comments?

When the truce is agreed to, no one mentions a prerequisite would be to stop castrations. That was the whole premise of the story and it was left out?

Wanting more of these eternal vamps

Just loved this story. The Gray and Dillion relationship is a real ride. The story moves along at a great pace. If you are looking for some edge to your vamps and some steamy romance this is the series for you. You will want to find out more about Dillions brothers and their lives. Narration loved it. Can't wait for the next book.

A good change of direction

I liked this story but I don't enjoy Tavia Gilbert as the narrator.
Gray and Dillon had a lot of push and pull, but I enjoyed them. I just could separate my dislike of the narrator from the story.

Bad, awful-Terrible Story Line

This book is sooo terrible. The story line was just stupid. I couldn't even finish this book it was so bad. I dont know why I even bought it. Oh, yes I do, I had a stupid moment since I knew the 2 before were bad. The first one was decent but it went down hill from there. This one was by far the worst of the them all. What a waste of my time and dollars. Seriously do not waste your time. PS the narrator is one of my favorites so it was not the narration it was just the story.
