Publisher's summary

Class is in, but Evangeline Hollis is struggling to get through the requisite training to be a full-fledged Mark. When her class goes on a field trip to an abandoned military base, passing the course isn’t just a matter of pride...it’s a matter of life and death. There’s a demon hidden among them, killing off Eve’s classmates one by one.

As the body count mounts, a ragtag team of cable TV ghost hunters unwittingly stumbles into the carnage. Now keeping the Mark system secret competes with the need to keep the "paranormal researchers" alive. With Cain on assignment and Abel on an investigation, Eve must fly solo on her hunt to stop a killer before he strikes again.

And the Adventure continues.....

Having somehow woken up after being sure she was dead and hell-bound, Eve picks up from where she left off. Being unable to shake the feeling that there are too many unanswered question from the events that have led her here...Eve, is finally in training and having a heck of a time getting through the 7 weeks as well as trying to juggle the 2 men in her life and still maintaining the semblence of normality for her mortal family!

After Marks start dying, and a new species of inferno never seen before is identified as responsible. The trio - Eve, Cain & Abel - find themselves pulled in different directions based on the tasks they have been assigned.

Eve is once again front & center of the huge dilemma and she is not willing to step aside and let the men in her life take care of things. In fact, She is more than willing to jump right in and deal with the situation despite the fact she still has no clue how to do her job!

The question is who done it? and How to undo it?

Filled with energy, mystery, drama, and a whole lot of well identified characters...This was a great book 2! Definitely worth my credit!

Wow, the plot thickens, expands, and explodes!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is an intense and sexy hot action book - more than I expected for certain.

What did you like best about this story?

Unexpected twists and turns for certain!

What does Jill Redfield bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her attitude for Eve, and the others is spot-on!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Torn between two lovers... or for the sex scenes, between her rock AND a hard place!

Very Intelligently Written!!!

Where does Eve of Destruction rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I am not into religion, but once I got passed the first couple of chapters the story just got more and more exciting!

A NON-STOP ROLLER-COASTER RIDE FOR YOUR EMOTIONS

Well I thought the first book was pretty damn good..... but this second one was WOW just brilliant and so, for any paranormal romance lover out there, this series (IMHO) is an absolute MUST HAVE.

As Eve is hopelessly in love with dark, moody, handsome, passionate Cain she is also very drawn to his thoughtful, equally handsome brother Abel too but Cain's love for her is so intense, tender and all consuming but the sexual tension just builds and builds between all of them something or someone's gotta give. Then Cain shockingly makes a dramatic decision that shakes the foundations of their love and brings her closer to the willing waiting arms of Abel.

From the very first chapter until the last, this unpredictable intense listen is action-packed, thrilling and sensually charged, with plot twists, romance, great characters (both old and new), murder, hidden agendas, secrets, emotional conflicts, mysteries and treachery that makes this a non-stop listen. The plot hooks you in, blindsides you and leaves you eagerly panting for the next instalment.

What a fantastic world Sylvia Day creates in this series then she infuses it with Demons, Archangels, Seraphim, Dragons, Fae, and the Devil (to name but a few paranormal beings) who are all walking around the Planet unseen by mortals and they're causing mischief and mayhem. Brilliantly narrated by Jill Redfield who makes each character come to life and effortlessly adds all the different nuances and emotions necessary to make this an outstanding listen.

Worth a credit? It'll have you gasping, sighing, denying, and crying out as this strange, sexually unfulfilled, heavenly ménage dramatically unfolds and leaves you panting for more, more, more - so it's got to be a YUMMY, DELICIOUS, LIP SMACKING YES.

Love this book and Sylvia day

If you could sum up Eve of Destruction in three words, what would they be?

It's funny and action packed. It's a all around great book and series can't wait for book 3 to be added.

What about Jill Redfield’s performance did you like?

She was great and got the accents perfect I love all the books she does

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes couldn't stop listen.

Any additional comments?

If you read the mark series also read the Renegade Angels series the books cross over

Second book blues...

The first book enthralled me...I couldn't work or sleep...I was obsessed! The second book, 'eh, it wasn't like that. This book seemed to have a lot more made up drama, confusing names, too many characters and overall it just felt fake. How the first book didn't feel fake with the mythical Cane and Abel fighting over a marked woman I can't say...but it didn't.

In this book Eve goes to Mark Class where she will learn how to be a proper Mark. The class is being run by Gidarra, an arch angel over Abel, and you expect great things in this book...the clash of titans almost and what you get is one of the main characters goes missing, another one has a personality swap and the third does an about face from their former actions...then you have a bunch of whiny secondary characters that did nothing for me. So, overall it was necessary to read because of book 1, but made me put the breaks on reading book 3 until it's on sale or I'm bored or something.

Jill Redfield was AWESOME as usual! if she wasn't narrating I might have just given up on the book!

Not a superior sequel

The balance between sex and plot was off and it made the experience something of a slog at times.
