I really enjoyed the audiobook. I feel like the narrator really brings the characters to life. She does both voices well and even the accents. I would recommend this series to anyone. I'm a huge history buff and though they aren't a history book, I sometimes have to remind myself that they're fantasy romance set in a different time period. This allows me to enjoy the series a lot. Even though it doesn't end in a cliffhanger, the epilogue leaves room for another book or two. I'm excited about that prospect.

I have lots of issues with this book. I believe the hero took the heroine's virginity without consent. There are too many people in this book. You have to read all the books in the series to understand what's really going on. Even then the story is still a bit confusing. Like book 3 this story is unfinished. The bad witch has not been caught and destroyed. I guess book 5 the last book in the series, will be the finale with more people, more confusion and the demise of the bad witch. I will not waste any more time on this series. I'm out.
