Wow!!

What a cliff hanger! High octane fuel for the head! I hope the next book comes out soon, the wait is gonna be brutal! Ramon killed it in narration!

fast read, action packed and alot of fun!

Marc has really bloomed as a great SF writer. This particular series has been alot of fun and I plan to go on to purchase his next audiobook in the First Of My Kind series. I am looking forward to reading Marc's future books of which, I hope there will be many more!

2 in a row establishes a trend..

I was hoping the last installment was just a misfire. Nope, the series has completed it's dive into pointless, non-thinking, non-strategic or even tactical violence for no apparent reason other than "pirates are bad" or "a guy tried to rob my girlfriend, therefore I better scour 17 systems and slaughter 1000's of people looking for him. It's 'kay, they're pirates". That galaxy threatening hostile species that we met 2 books ago and have since glanced twice? Nah, that can be done later.

I wanted to like this series. At this point, though, I can't see it redeeming itself. All it is is a linear video game plot of "go here, kill all the baddies" with cutscenes of cookie cutter, repetitive crew interactions for "comedy" and "I totally did it with the hot alien chick".
