Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. If you can't get your hands on a copy or you can't take the time to sit and read it. This audiobook is worth it.Who was your favorite character and why?
Ralph's father is so full of wisdom and is just so darn good. He makes you want to be a better, harder working person. But honestly, who isn't there to love in this book? You love everyone or you love to hate someone. It's a wonderful story!Any additional comments?
The narrator was a bit distracting when doing accents or women's voices, but still a very good performance. One of the best children's books written

Would you consider the audio edition of Father and I Were Ranchers to be better than the print version?
My boys (and girls for that mater) enjoyed listening to this while we were traveling. Cameron Beierle's deep voice adds to the text and helps you relate to Ralph and the other men in the book. What other book might you compare Father and I Were Ranchers to and why?
Set at the turn of the century, this book has similar these or settings to Old Yeller, The Great Brain, and The Great Turkey Walk. My boys enjoy this series as much as my girls enjoy Little House on the Prairie.Have you listened to any of Cameron Beierle’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is my first Cameron Beierle.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There are scene that we laughed about together. The ending is sad.coming of age story, wonderfully written and read
