This is the #1 audiobook for anyone who has ever suffered from the slightest bit of depression in his/her life. The techniques like Vertical Arrow, 3 column technique, etc really work and you will feel instantly happy. There is no other self-help book on the planet that is more helpful than this book and I'm not exaggerating.

Such a positve experience
My therapist recommended this book on my first appointment. I hesitated and got it a few weeks after. This book did more for me than my therapist ever did. It got me out of my depression and I can use the knowledge as I go back into depression to help keep me out. I cannot say enough about this book and bought two physical copies to give to loved ones that struggle as well.

Very well written and lots of good info. I took the depression test when I started the book and again right before finishing and my number has already decreased some and I’ve noticed changes in myself just by listening and completing some of the exercises. I really like the doctors philosophies!

Outstanding, a great treatise on the subject
Worth your time , long but very thorough.
He emphasizes the cognitive therapy approach.
At end it includes a great consumer/patient guide to antidepressent medications side effects and their interactions with other medications and foods.
I was very impressed with his theory of limited treatment.
He presents a realistic look at treatments not pie in the sky type stuff. Really helped.
