Publisher's summary

He swept into Lily Meeker’s sheltered world on a chill wind in a torrential rainstorm—Griffon Goforth, the dark, enigmatic clairvoyant Lily’s family had hired to locate her missing cousin. With ice-blue eyes and arms as warm as an Ozark sunset, the handsome stranger mesmerizes the lonely dark-haired beauty, setting free the sensuous, secret longings buried deep in her heart. True, she believes him a charlatan, but Lily is powerless to resist the searing heat of Griffon’s desire—and she is further enthralled as his touch awakens her own psychic gifts…and a love that dared live only in her dreams.

Editorial reviews

Let yourself be swept away by the heat of Deborah Camp's sensual Fire Lily, performed with flair by actor Luci Christian Bell, who flings herself fully into the world of Lily Meeker as she finds herself thrown completely for a loop by - you guessed it - tall, dark, and handsome clairvoyant Griffon.

This searing romance with a mystical, magical twist is pure escapist fantasy, a delicious treat made even tastier by Bell's skilled performance, especially her strong sense of timing and empathetic, emotive intonations. Take some time off for yourself and enjoy this ride...you won't regret it!

Fabulous Narrator

Would you listen to Fire Lily again? Why?

Just so you know . . . I wrote this book, so you can ignore my five star review on the story. Of course, I like it! But I wanted to review the performance of Luci Christian Bell. Wow! She is absolutely terrific! She made Griffin Goforth sound so freaking sexy that it was like hearing a book that I hadn't even written! She has quite a task in this book, calling upon several different accents -- Scottish, English, French, hill country hicks, etc. and she does every single accent and voice and inflection perfectly.
I so admire the talented narrators hired by Audible. Yes, some are much better than others, and Luci Christian Bell is one of the very best.
If you like to hear stories of mystery, intrigue, magic, and wanton love, then have a listen and enjoy the expertise of Ms. Bell!
Thanks, Luci. You did me proud.

What other book might you compare Fire Lily to and why?

Primrose is also well done. Good narrator.

What about Luci Christian Bell’s performance did you like?

She is so awesomely talented! A real actress.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were several. I loved the way Griffin talked and seduced LIly.

Any additional comments?

Thanks, Audible!

Just not up to suffering 25 hours of this

The author of this book wrote a review talking about a fabulous narrator for her five star book. In both cases, a total falsehood. The narrator has a perfect valley girl voice, and if she makes Griffon Goforth sound 'freakin sexy' I am an elephant with five legs. Despite this, I tolerated an hour before realizing that the book wasn't worth the suffering. In that case I guess the horrible narrator was equal with a very limited author.
