Zig..she is adorable!!!! We would have a cursing good time!!!

I came across this series by chance..I was looking to see if there was a second book in another Rhys Ford series...and the title intrigued me...This was such a good book! Deacon fights for custody of his niece Zig supposedly after her mom commits suicide...Deacon takes her away to a new city to start a safe and calm new life....well bad things keep happening..someone is trying to kill this little girl...Deacon meets Lang, his landlord, and book shop owner that is next to his new mechanics shop...they have an instant chemistry and ZIg really likes Langs shop and his cats...Things progress and Deacon and Lang end up dating and ultimately healing together...Lang was a victim of a really bad stalking and almost killed...so he is very cautious...there is danger everywhere...but in the end...Love conquers all!! If you like M/M romance and a cool mystery..this one is for you!!!!

It's starts with a bang but about half way through it starts to fizzle out. This is a insta-love book which personally isnt my cup of tea. Honestly, Zig is the only reason I kept listening; she's hilarious and has the mouth of a sailor. Also, Goss' narration kept me hanging in another two hours after I was bored by the book.

I loved this story. The characters are quirky, but down to earth. Rhys Ford has a wonderful grasp of the English language and writes the characters beautifully and then they are brought to life by Spencer Goss. It is at times dramatic, heartwrenching, and funny, but it is loving overall and a great story. Don't miss it well worth a credit.

Plenty of what you read M/M romances to get plus lots of heart stopping excitement when someone is out to get one of the three protagonists, the boyfriends or the little girl. But which are they after and who is they and why? Entertaining. Way above the average M/M standard romances which have no real plot.
