Never rent an apartment over the internet.
I learned that lesson the hard way. Turns out the sweet two bedroom I was thrilled to make mine is actually smack dab in the middle of a retirement community.
Now instead of enjoying Florida’s night life, I’m helping Mrs. Hill find her missing hearing aids and showing Mr. Frazier how to use his television remote for the millionth time.
But it’s fine. They look out for me and I look out for them.
Which is how I end up wedged in a broom closet with Mr. Frazier’s sexy as sin nephew.
Being tangled up with Grant is the most exciting thing that’s happened to me in… ever.
Unfortunately, it’s the most dangerous thing to happen to me in… also ever.
Because I thought Grant was just a grumpy businessman with an addiction to gummy bears, but based on his abilities in hand-to-hand combat, I’m starting to question if there’s more to that story.
And if that more might be the end of my story.

Fish out of Water is the laugh-out-loud romantic-comedy-meets-cozy-mystery featuring an arborist turned accidental detective, a suspiciously skilled investment banker with a chip on his shoulder, and a fish tank’s worth of clues. It brings the hilarity and the heat, with no cliffhangers and a HEA that will leave you swooning.

so much fun

Oh my goodness, this audio was so much fun! Grant and Julia remind me of a comedy crime investigating duo. Add in Nonna Sylvia and the laughs keep on coming! I couldn't get over Grant's nickname for Julia "banana pants" Connor Crais and CJ Bloom are a brilliant narrating duo

Lionfish, mafia, and dick pics, oh my!

This was such a funny audiobook! Wayward uncles, cow slippers, closet encounters of the naked kind, drunk grandmas, missing money, and hitmen are all part of a zany caper that brings Grant and Julia, a.k.a Banana Pants, together. The narration is perfect, too! Connor and C.J. totally embrace the wackiness of this tale and go for it -- turning in an excellent and highly entertaining performance. Loved this! Will definitely look for more by author Josie Watts.
