Publisher's summary

A Lost Gods book

Emilo Haversack is unusually worried for a kender - though he can't for the life of him remember what his problem is. Still, he's been wandering across Ansalon for quite some time, trying to remember what's wrong. All he can recall is the name of a very evil, very dead wizard...Fistandantilus.

Joined by a young kendermaid, a human lad, and a devout, if somewhat naive priest, Emilo is drawn into a mysterious quest. As he draws closer to the secret of his past, he and his friends find themselves caught in an increasingly sinister web of intrigue.

And as the conclusion of the adventure approaches, the companions learn that their purpose is one that could catapult them from Krynn - and forever change the destiny of the world they leave behind.

Utterly fascinating!

After quite some time reading many lore trails of Dragonlance, I have always been intrigued with Fistandantilus. This is a perfect example of a story being told with such detail that one could envision the unfolding as if one was watching it on screen. Continued to be amazed by these writers.
The voice narrator was very good and allowed one to feel the tone of each sentence.

good just takes a bit to get into.

Takes a little while to get interesting. It's necessary for the world building/background setup.

Interesting

This was yet another interesting part of the story of Fistandantilus. a complicated tale with jumps into the past that fill in previous gaps in his story.

Okay...

Enjoyable, but nothing special. If you enjoy dragonlance you'll enjoy this. Solid narration from O'Brien.
