About this listen

Easton

You know what’s the worst feeling in the world? Being in love with someone since you were twelve years old, knowing they only see you as a little brother type.

Not even becoming an NHL star has made him realize I’m all grown up now.

All of that changes when I ask my brother’s best friend to ref a charity match and we spend an entire week in each other’s pocket.

Being close to him is torture, but for the first time since my adolescent crush started, I begin to feel hope. I swear Knox looks at me the same way I look at him. Or so I think. When I throw myself at him and get utterly rejected, I never want to see him again.

Yet, shaking him is impossible, because he and Connor are always around, and my older brother is suffocatingly protective. Every time I look at Knox, I’m reminded of how he turned me down.

Can’t I just die of embarrassment in peace?

Knox

The Kiki brothers are legendary in the NHL world. Thick as thieves, unstoppable on the ice, and the kind of family nothing can come between. Or so I thought.

For the last ten years, I’ve successfully hidden my feelings for the middle Kiki brother. Easton is snarky, determined, and the prettiest guy I’ve met. Ever since we stumbled across each other on a gay dating app and shared our secrets, I’ve felt a connection to him that I haven’t had with anything else.

But Connor is my best friend and when it comes to his little brothers, “protective” doesn’t cover it. I’m determined to take my feelings for Easton to the grave, but after a week in close proximity to him, my willpower is ready to break.

All it takes is one charity hockey match, a drunken night out, and a forbidden kiss for me to know that Easton Kikishkin is it for me.

And unless I want to lose Connor, Easton will never be mine.

A great lighthearted story

I was so excited to see a new release in the puckboy series!
Really enjoyed the characters in this one. It has all the old gang from the Queer Collective which I adored. The only thing I felt was lacking was more steamy scenes.
All in all, another great queer love story with awesome narration.

I really wanted to love it but it’s “Meh”

Ok for starters - I am a huge fan of the puck boy series and enjoyed all of them. It was a no brainier to get this one. BUT this one is “Meh”. The characters have no depth, the story has no real twist and most of all I didn’t laugh out loud except once for Ezra”s “next time harder, daddy”. Even the very loved queer collective appearance didn’t add to this story, it was all mediocre. There was a lack of depth in everything. And I love the authors and their books! But this one, sorry no. Wanted to love it and feel guilty I didn’t.
Luckily I didn’t read it but listened as the performance was outstanding even bringing boring character and story alive enough to not switch off entirely. The book further felt like a set up to a next story idea - I might be wrong but let’s see.
I hope the next one in this franchise will be back to more interesting characters, and more laughs. I will surely still buy it even though this one left me feeling like it was not on the same level as the others.

Forever Love

Brothers best friend, hockey romance. A great addition to this series. the narration is great. Cendese and Toma are a wonderful team and really bring this story to life. a long drawn out fight to be together leads to a sweet HEA. the ending doesn't seem complete to me it just kinda ends. I would have liked a more future detailed ending. still a great story.👏❤🔥

Story great, Narration partly so

Totally disliked Alexander Cendese's narration. Iggy Toma excellent. I was close to not finishing the book because of the aforementioned narration.

Yes the Kiki brothers!!

Omg I’ve been waiting for this book since I read Bromantic Puckboy #6. I loved Easton and Knox. Their chemistry was intense. Seriously this is one of my favorite books in the series. Like always Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendence did amazing. I love hearing them bring to life all of my favorite people.

This was such a well written book, the plot was something new for me to read. I love how well both authors developed the relationship between friends, but also the whole family dynamic. I was happy to see more Into both Kiki brothers bond.

Finally we get the all queer collective charity hockey game 🥅 🏒 🏳️‍🌈. Seeing some of our old and favorite characters back in action was amazing. This is a must read book, and overall must read series.

P.s
I have my suspicions regarding book 8 can’t wait to know more. Also March can come fast enough ‼️😱‼️😱‼️
