It’s only dated in the use of the term “VD” for STI, and how lovers stay in touch while apart. No texting or video calling. But other than that it rings true. Unfriendly, I fear many girls and young women don’t fare as well: they are not as respected or able to have and maintain needed boundaries. But this book is an example of how to get both: respect and boundaries.

Absolutely wonderful. A great narration performed about a much needed thorough story of a common love story. I wanted more in the end, but we have all lived this and know how it ends. The excerpt at the end by the auther herself, explaining why she wrote it was excellent. The reason she did it, bravo.

As I was listening to Forever, I kept reflecting on my life when I was a teenager . I thought Judy‘s expressions were so real when I was 18. I never shared it because I came from a very very Christian family unable to discuss sexuality. I am now 78 and I have an 11 year old granddaughter, who’s being raised in a very strict Christian family . Yet I believe 60 years later life, culture , world , social media have certainly changed. Thank you Judy Blume for bringing a story with both sides of a teenage relationship and emotional awarenesses.

Forever has many different meanings

The story of Kathrine and Michael is an all time favorite of mine and deserves to be cherished by every generation . It has a little something in it for many different people and avenues we did not plan going down . I hope Forever helps many teenagers that have personal struggles as much as it helped me .

I read this book in middle school. Everyone was talking about it because it was about teenage sex. I am a hopeless romantic and appreciate how real this story is about different teen drama without being negative. Just refreshing of a story about life and experiences in life.
