Publisher's summary

I disappeared on a Tuesday afternoon. I was there one minute and the next I was gone. They’ve never found my body…

It’s six in the morning during the hottest summer on record when Elizabeth O’Loughlin, out walking her dog, comes across Clare, a victim of a horrific knife attack, clinging onto life at the side of the road.

Clare dies minutes later, but not before whispering her haunting last words to Elizabeth.

When it becomes clear that Clare’s killer has more than one murder on his mind, Elizabeth has to take drastic action or face losing everything.

But what if she can’t stop a killer determined never to be forgotten?

"An intense psychological thriller… many twists and turns… an exceptional read'

Ingeniously plotted, brilliantly written and cleverly told, Forget Me Not is a pacy thriller that continues to propel best-selling author Claire Allan straight on the path to superstardom. Another winner from Claire Allan’s twisted pen!"

Wow! Twisty

My goodness, this may have started a tad slow in the building up phase, but it soon had me on the edge of my seat! Guessing who done stayed just out of reach until the very end. We’ll done Ms Allan! As tough as some of this was to listen to it dealt with some very real issues including infidelity and suicide.

Taut psychological thriller.

Elizabeth, a widow living on a farm outside Derry, takes her dog for a walk one hot June morning along a country road where she finds a young woman, dumped, barely clinging to life. “Warn them,” are her dying words. The story then picks up with the shockwave Clare’s death sends through her loved ones.
Expertly rendered, this story unpeels layers of truth and delusion with exquisite sensitivity to the ebb and flow of human beings’ relationships. A taut psychological thriller.

Some lessons...

Very well written, fleshed out characters, believable, all around great book. Entertaining, touching and well performed.
I'm not sure what else you could ask.
Older woman Elizabeth finds Claire dying while walking her dog. She hears Claire's dying words.
Then a chain of events begin that are creepy, sad, laying bare human flaws, fears, and troubled families. Recommended.

This kept me entertained from beginning to end! Narrator was great, easy to follow story and never knew who the bad guy was until the end.

Could've Been a Good Mystery

I was poised to listen and like this murder mystery . . . until one of the victim's best friends starts cheating on her husband, because she needed "someone to be there for her". Gag . . . leaving her husband and two daughters, she goes to the police station to give her statement, then stops by her boyfriend's house for a quickie . . . please . . . too much . . . just ridiculous.

It's all about me

This book is beyond frustrating. A woman dies & all the people involved can do is think about themselves. The worst, a woman having an affair, disconnected from her husband, she & boyfriend get busy & he gives her family space to grieve & all that witch can talk about is how she needs someone there for HER! This author had to have this somewhere in her past when she wrote this God awful book. The plot gives no build up with any connection to the characters & God known why the woman who found the murder victim & the victims friends are getting Forget Me Not Flowers with cryptic notes, giving the reading no clue as to wants going on. The frustration I've mentioned is going to make me not care about anyone (almost there) & stop listening. Glad the book was only $7

Forget This Book

Utterly awful. Perhaps the author thought she was being clever, but none of it made sense, right to the very end.
