Loved it, to the very end. Wish I was more opened to and read it years ago. While a perhaps a Christian themed foundational background (the author is a pastor) the content has applications for anyone desiring a strong successful relationship or marriage. All relationships will have their trials. This is a highly recommended book for anyone seeking to make the most of a committed partnership.

This is an amazing book for all on the marriage spectrum from newlyweds to 40+ years of marriage. It is straightforward and sharp. I intend to buy to include with wedding gifts in the future.

I wish I would have read this book as a newlywed. After a 20 year marriage that ended in divorce, I know if I had read this with my spouse, we could have held on. Marriage doesn't have a guidebook, but I feel it needs one. This book was such a great guide on how to keep your marriage together and gave very practical advice and examples. Kevin really shows all sides of a marriage without the expectation of traditional gender roles. It was above anything, about partnership. This book should be read by every newlywed couple. I will encourage my children to read this before getting married.

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The author’s perspective is very similar to that of mine, yet his words are more well articulated than I would have been able to explained. Whether the content is new to you or that is something you have already learned, it is important that we listen to these reminders to help us preserve a strong, healthy, and forever lasting marriage.
