A fast thrill ride

Really enjoyed the story and excellent narration. Courtney and Sage are an engaging couple and the chemistry between them is great.

A good second in the series

So far I am enjoying this series.

Overall, I feel this book was very good. Erin Wade did a good job with the story and characters, Melody Alice once again gave us a wonderful performance with the narration.

The storyline was good, but from my perspective, I think the story could have been better, but that all depends on the readers and their likes and dislikes.

I know the story is written from the viewpoint of Sage and Courtney but I would have liked a little more insight into the other characters.

A little of this book starts being set in motion in book one of the series with Harrison attempting to get Courtney to work a job for him to investigate an island that his family has owned for over 300 years and rises above the water in the heart of the Bermuda triangle once every 50 years. He needs something from the island but can’t get it himself. Why? I feel I know the answer, but it was never answered in the book to my satisfaction.

I would have liked a little more from the supporting characters and the ending seemed a little rushed and could have been drawn out a little more. I think the diary telling the story of Els and Lisa was fantastic. I would have liked a little more from them than was given in the later chapters. I hope to hear more of Els and Lisa in future books in this series.

As a future story idea. Let’s have Jake and Kinga solve a mystery in the canyon since it was mentioned that Kinga can’t leave the canyon therefore Jake and Kinga cannot both go off with the girls to work a job unless somehow it becomes possible for Kinga to leave the canyon for a period of time. Perhaps in the next book or the one after when Courtney and Sage go off on a job Jake and Kinga can have an adventure of their own as a side story.
