Food for thought

This book has some good "nuggets" that can help anyone wishing to amp up their work environment and are looking for a positive change in that environment but just did not know how to get started. The examples and motivational tips were truly insightful.

I think the author has people's best interest in mind but the book itself was repetitive and too long.

The narration by Sally Downing was spot on. She has a clear and precise voice that glides through the narration making it enjoyable to listen to.

Leisurely pace with good advice

What made the experience of listening to Glow: How You Can Radiate Energy, Innovation, and Success the most enjoyable?

Good narrator. Sensible ideas.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

The writer tends to belabor the point. She uses more words than needed to get to the point. Once she says there are three steps or five reasons or whatever, list them. Don't build up to each one. The book would probably be an hour or two shorter if she would just tell us what she has to say instead of telling us what she is going to say.

Have you listened to any of Sallie Downing’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Sallie has a rich, voluptuous voice that is easy to listen to. I thought the pace of this book was a bit slow. I will look for other books she has narrated.

I've listened to only one so I guess it's the best I've heard!

She had a wonderful voice, she kept me interested.
