Edgar Award nominee Victor Gischler “specializes in morbid humor, dark sarcasm, and comic noir, complete with violence and mayhem” (Library Journal). Go-Go Girls of the Apocalypse picks up 10 years after the end of the world. Former insurance salesman Mortimer Tate leaves his secluded cabin and discovers a desolate landscape complete with cowboys, bandits, and cannibals, where the only traces of civilization are found at Joey Armageddon’s Sassy-a-Go-Go club.

Reseñas de la Crítica
What made the experience of listening to Go-Go Girls of the Apocalypse the most enjoyable?
People dealing with - realistically - post war apocalypse. I have no illusions that "man is inherently good" (would like to think so ... ) and the situations presented prove that out.If you’ve listened to books by Victor Gischler before, how does this one compare?
Haven't - this was my first.Which scene was your favorite?
I really liked the story / plot twist when Mortimer figures out who "Joey" is. Quite a build up, not a let down, well delivered. Again, don't take this too seriously. Joey's economy is a bit optimistic. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Not at all. I put it down, bounced around between books.Any additional comments?
The cover has little to do with the story. If you dont take it too seriously - its fun!

Only if they were looking for something light and different to read. What did you like best about this story?
The surprising turn of events and finding there is life after the apocalypse. I did like the references to places and locations in the Southeast US.Which character – as performed by Scott Sowers – was your favorite?
I am not sure. Most of the characters sounded like they were on Green Acres or Hee Haw.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It was funny in many places.Any additional comments?
It definitely wasn't a masterpiece but it was a nice light, enjoyable read between serious books.Hillbilly Apocalypse
