Highly recommend

This book is informative and offers a wealth of information for self care, particularly for those in law enforcement. I believe it is worth the listen for all first responders and their support persons. Includes up to date information on ways to reduce the impact of stressful calls, as well as how to know if additional support is advisable. As a therapist, I'm particularly impressed that Mr. Casey includes information on specific therapy approaches that are likely to be most beneficial (i.e. EMDR & ART) and when to seek these out. I appreciate the way the information was organized throughout the book and believe Mr. Casey's prior experience of working as an EMT and a LEO give him credibility with offering advice re: how best to support those who serve our communities in these roles.
