Runaway narration

This book has a very interesting storyline. However, the runaway narration spoiled my interest and listening to the hyper speed style of narration made me tense, lessening any enjoyment I could have derived from this audiobook. Not sure if it was a production error or if the narrator's style of reading is always this fast. I kept wondering if she even took a breath between sentences! Would recommend reading this book instead of listening to the audio, if you have the time - I don't.

Meh

The narrator isn’t bad, but she’s not good either. She kind of ruined the story for me. She narrates as if a period is just a suggestion and all sentences blur into one another. So it’s just one big paragraph. She doesn’t even take a breath between each sentence. She also doesn’t have different voices for each character so I never know who’s POV we are in or who’s speaking. The book itself seemed ok the story seemed to flow but I just can’t get over the narration. It just ruins it for me. Everything is chaotic.

ready for the next one! audio reader was great, this book went by super fast. I would read more from this series.
