I’m enjoying the Benjamin January series very much. As a frequent visitor to New Orleans, i find the author’s descriptions of people & places really help me visualize how it the French Quarter must’ve been long ago. The narration is captivating, allowing me to easily picture the characters and to follow their dialog-the narrator appears to maintain the different character voices throughout the chapters so their individual dialogs are separate & distinct.

Very enjoyable.
