Pretty solid listen

Surprisingly witty and a quick listen. This isn't your typical office book. The conclusion actually had quite a heart too.

Highly recommended.

This book will expand your mind and stimulate your own personal growth. I actually used this as a text in a class on how businesses work. Students found it understandable, and one of the best features of the book is that it gives advice on how to move toward and away from people who can help you or drag you down in a business setting. Highly recommended.

manage with mastery

I run a division with just five people. And even managing that size is tough. Getting people to show up is the hard part personally. But there is some good advice here on task management.

Great perspectives on leadership

I'm reading these texts for a leadership course and they are very interesting articles. They can be very useful for learning leadership techniques that people can use in their everyday lives but are biased towards business and organizational leadership instead of social or Civic leadership.

One of the greats

I bought this for a class but wish I had bought this sooner. The authors are well known in the field and the handbook they have created is one of the most complete references I have seen. I recommend this if you are studying leadership, especially as part of a graduate degree.

wise words for leaders

if you need to run an office full of lots of humans-with their own minds and ways of doing things, this will help. God knows the people in my office are a handful

Good tips that allowed me to improve my company. Came at just the right time too. Listen carefully, folks. That is all. A good example of why you should have a method to keep an eye on your employees, and I like that the author wasn’t trying to sell a software app or something.

This book is great! It gets you motivated and keeps you busy. It not only gives great advice and strategies but also great motivational stories.
