Publisher's summary
The world is safe–from Henry.
Damien has managed to survive all the challenges thrown at him, and he’s even starting to enjoy his time at Blackmist. With Henry and Sylph by his side, he just might actually make it through Blackmist without getting killed.
Herald has other plans. Forces that have lurked at the edge of the Void for countless Cycles have started to move, and their power is growing with every passing day. Damien needs to gain mastery over his magic, but Herald isn’t content to let him sit around for much longer.
As more of the truth behind the Void and its purpose on the Mortal Plane is unveiled, Damien is forced to face the concerning truth that the Cycle might really need to be reset.
He won’t let it go without a fight, though. With Henry and Sylph’s help, he plans to bring the battle straight to the greatest threat the Mortal Plane has seen–but that might be just what its waiting for.
Greenblood is a slice-of-life mixed with LitRPG in a magic school setting. A slow build power fantasy from Actus, the best-selling author of Morcster Chef. It's perfect for fans of Cradle, Iron Prince, and Mage Errant.

Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself. That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth. Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. War has raged ever since. Felix's life on Earth had become a series of dead-end jobs, ruined relationships, and rotating apartments smaller than most postage stamps. By all accounts, even his own, he was a coward. Too afraid to move forward, to take risks. Yet when given the chance to choose between risking his life or walking away from a deadly encounter, he didn't hesitate. Moments before his untimely demise, Felix was snatched from earth and thrust into a magical world known only as "The Continent". Empowered by the "System", he learns that he can strengthen himself through combat and dedication.

When freakish storms envelope the Earth, people start disappearing without a trace. Wild theories abound: Is it aliens, spontaneous combustion, or perhaps quantum entanglement? The only ones who might know are those who have vanished. An average group of gamers is setting up to start a new campaign. The storms rage across the world, but they only care about the game they are about to start. Little do they know that they would be next to disappear from the face of the Earth.

Story
All of the stories you've heard are wrong. They always tell you that starting a new life in a fantasy world is an amazing experience, full of magic, adventure, and true love...but they never tell you what happens when it's over. They don't tell you that it just happens again. And again. By the time you start your third new life in a row, all of that initial amazement wears off. That's where Lux finds himself now: dropped into yet another fantasy world, forced to restart his life all over again. He wants nothing more than to disappear...but it seems the world has other plans for him.

Callum had seen things all his life. There are monsters and beasts living among people, but he learned very early not to admit such things, not if he didn’t want people to think him crazy. It turns out that the supernatural is real, but at 30, Callum has no desire to be part of that secret. Not that he has a choice when it turns out he is a mage, albeit one that hasn’t cast any spells in all his life. Actus is on a roll 2 amazing series from 1 author
I loved this sequel in what has become one of my favorite new series. It builds really well upon the first book and has just about everything you can want. Great plot, with awesome characters, world building is good enough and not really what this series focuses on. I was a bit hesitant at first about this series because it seemed like it was a Y.A book. But I can't really say that it's written as a Y.A at all, which to me is a huge upside. It's a very mature book that is pretty grim and dark in a really good way. I can't stress this enough Actus is one of my new top 5 authors. If you enjoy this series check out his other amazing series (Monster Chef) totally worth it as well.

Please Read This Series!
I spend so much time looking for good books with characters that I can actually relate to. This in one of those lucky finds that I would place towards the very top of my list.

Finishing up the first year of mage college
I was happy to see the second book in this series, come out so quickly – my favorite part is probably the premise - it’s an easy read that I finished in less than a week - looking forward to more installments in this and the author’s other series

World building good. story slow.
while I like the book overall and would casually recommend it, my honest opinion is that the story really struggled to keep me hooked. I am an avid and voracious reader. I tend to ceaselessly consume stories as fast as I can. I really struggled to keep reading this book, it was not a bad book. I just tended to get bored in between interesting moments. a few days might go by and I would start to think about that really interesting thing that happened earlier in the book and then I would want to listen to more. there was lots of interesting moments, and the world was very interesting. but the frequent boring moments really killed the flow. I still give it a four out of five because it had very entertaining moments
