About this listen

A blind sculptor. A satyr bodyguard. A dangerous plan to expose a criminal empire.

Aceon doesn’t care for holidays—or humans. As a satyr bodyguard, his job is to keep his clients alive and his emotions out of the equation. But Satin, a blind sculptor with a biting wit and a deadly secret, isn’t like any client he’s ever had.

She’s stolen a list that could expose the corrupt empire that destroyed her family, and now assassins are closing in. From Moscow’s glittering Winter Galas to high-stakes casinos in Morocco, Aceon and Satin must outsmart and outfight a relentless enemy while navigating a connection that’s as dangerous as it is undeniable.

Their mission is clear: protect the list, expose the truth, and stay alive long enough to see Christmas.

But the real risk isn’t losing the fight—it’s losing each other.

This is a fun holiday romance that's told ONLY through the monster's POV!

Not bad but not my favorite

This book is the last in the series? Maybe. First time listening to this author and loving her work so far. She is able to tell a great storyline on a classic spin.
Her romances are good and with men who can treat woman right. I am getting tired of the whole thing where men are abusive and it’s sexy.
She keeps it to strong men are sexy no matter if there a monster. In looks only.

So this book is not my favorite of the 3 so far. Felt like less was put into it than the others. You felt less connect to the characters. Not much back story on ethier. The main female had few events. But the lead male was next to nothing. Other than crazy girlfriend.
The storyline all together was little bland. Feeling rushed a tad at parts.
But again not bad book. Had a good baseline and the romance was sweet. Built through hardships and passion.

Would I recommend this book.
Yes, it’s a nice story. Especially if you like the first two.

Narration
They took out the female narrator, and I am so bummed about that. They were a perfect team. Like wtf.
But the male reader is phenomenal awesome at his job. Made up for it. I plan on listening to more work of his.
