A must listen for PMs in Digital Media

Enlightning and Truly Awesome

What made the experience of listening to Guide to Product Management in Digital Media the most enjoyable?

Book is completely inclusive and even listening a guide seem like a hard thing it is really enjoyable and really teaching.

Nice introduction to product management

A quite nice and compact review of product management. Book is based on media industry but it will be helpful to all people who are new on product management.

Full of simplifications and misunderstandings

As a UX and agile professional I can only say that almost everything said involving those topics are either gross simplifications or misunderstandings. For example, sprints are not always 2 weeks long (as stated here) and 8 users are not always the number of users needed to get enough data in usability tests (it is a bit more complicated than that and has to do with statistics). Thus book is, at best, a reader's digest to product management. To do it well you need a much deeper understanding of the things mentioned in this book.
