Publisher's summary

Do you want a proven way to reduce the negative effects of trauma in just a few minutes? Keep reading.

If you’re suffering from a past traumatic experience, you’ve doubtless been presented with a number of possible treatments. Some of these might help, and others, not so much. And some of these treatments will be more involved and expensive than others.

Surprisingly, one of the best places to start if you’re looking for an alternative route is with guided therapeutic imagery. The practice has been around for centuries and used by ancient cultures like the Tibetan monks and Greeks.

Only recently in the 1970s, health professionals began to endorse this practice as a legitimate way for treating serious conditions. And yet, many people still don’t know what guided imagery is or at the very least don’t know how powerful it can be.

It is scientifically proven that the mind can’t tell the difference between imagined or actual experiences. Guided visualization directs your focus and triggers a new perspective of the past.

Guided therapeutic imagery treats a range of mental issues including anxiety, stress, depression, anger, and overwhelming negative emotions.

In Guided Imagery for Trauma, you'll discover:

  • Relaxing and effective experiences, written and delivered by pros
  • A guided warmup proven to calm your mind instantly
  • Narration and prompts specifically designed to trigger three critical physical responses that deeply relax you and speed up the healing process
  • Custom guided imagery exercises to remedy seven different types of trauma
  • Convenient visualizations that get results but don't take much time to do
  • And much more!

Science and medicine are on the side of guided imagery. But even if you’re still skeptical, what do you have to lose?

If you want to discover your self-healing power, scroll up and listen to this audiobook.

The Power and The Glory

IT IS AMAZING! The author lays out concepts around both trauma response and the practice of mindfulness in really easily doable and digestible ways - and really surprised how well-timed these meditations are. They've caught me a few times when my mind was indeed wandering.

This audiobook is my companion

Listening to this audiobook empowers my thought that “no person is an island” we really need someone to be there with us, and I feel like this audiobook and narrator do that for me. This genuine connection takes all the pain away and gives me courage to live in the present moment.

This is an above average book when it comes .....

This is an above average book when it comes to meditation and trauma! I've been using self-guided imagery for the past 40+ years and I can attest that it works but like anything else we need to be diligent. And even more so, we need to accept the end result as our own truth and wisdom.

I loved this!

When it started, I thought to myself: "there is no way this is gonna have any value ". But, I had a lot of helpful thought processes and the isolated time to explore them during my listens to this. I highly recommend if you're dealing with ptsd or anything of the like.
