Hans im Glück: Hans hat ausgelernt und bekommt von seinem Lehrherrn einen großen Klumpen Gold als Entlohnung. Doch auf dem Heimweg drückt ihn dieser sehr. Am liebsten würde er ihn loswerden. Sehr bald findet sich ein Interessent, der gerne mit ihm tauschen würde...
Die Brautschau: Ein heiratswilliger junger Mann ist auf der Suche nach einer Frau. Doch welche soll er nehmen? Seine Mutter, die es ja schließlich wissen muss, gibt ihm einen guten Rat...
Der treue Johannes: Als der alte König stirbt, muss der treue Johannes ihm versprechen, immer gut auf seinen Sohn, den Prinzen, aufzupassen. Der Prinz jedoch ist sehr neugierig und will unbedingt in das Zimmer, welches Johannes mit allen Mitteln versucht verschlossen zu halten. Als er dem Prinzen zu guter Letzt doch das Zimmer öffnet, sieht dieser das Porträt einer wunderschönen Prinzessin, und die Geschichte nimmt ihren Lauf - denn der Prinz will dieses Mädchen unbedingt für sich gewinnen...
