Publisher's summary

From Amazon number-one best-selling author Wes Raley comes a powerful new book about how to have the peace of God in a world of striving, stress, and anxiety.

"But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God" (Hebrews 10:12 ESV).

We know that Jesus came to give us an abundant life (John 10:10). Yet many of us would describe our lives with words such as busy, stressed, anxious, or even overwhelmed. Despite how much we dislike the weight of such a frantic existence, we often carry on living with a gap between our experience and the fullness of life we know that Jesus offers. But it doesn't have to be this way.

The Bible makes it clear that the position of victory is seated. Seated in Christ. Seated in all that He has accomplished. Seated in His perfect sovereignty and plan for our lives. Seated in His love. The confidence and peace that come from being seated with Christ is the breakthrough you long for in your soul.

Through the clear Biblical passages and teachings in this book you will:

  • Find peace in the total acceptance of God.
  • Be set free from the rat race of performance, striving, stress, and dissatisfaction of the world.
  • Learn to prefer and prioritize the praise of God over the praise of men.
  • Live with the confidence that comes from being secure in your identity as a son or daughter of God.
  • Study the Biblical passages that unlock the truth of abiding and resting in Christ.
  • Learn the practical implications of your spiritual position in Christ.
  • Grow in gratitude for all that God has accomplished on your behalf.
  • Enjoy the true rest that God desires you to have.

Seated truly is the position of victory. Get your copy today and grow in a life of the same!

How to Live Continually in the Peace of God!!

This is a great book for all Christians on their heavenly and seated position in Christ and how to live continually in the peace of God!! Although it seemed tedious and repetitive at times of the major theme of how to have continuous peace with God, I recommend that you listen to it all the way through to get the full impact of his message.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ!

Amazing!... Convicting in so many ways, and a life changing book if you allow it to be! I picked this book because it was recommended by a blog I read- the name seemed interesting and it got me curious. The beginning has things you might have heard before, but once you're deeper into the book it gets into some really interesting issues regarding receiving the peace of Jesus. I was blown away so many times by some of the statements and deeper look into the issue of peace. I found myself rewinding / listening again to multiple powerful parts. I usually do audio books because I don't have much time to read with 2 small children, but after a few chapters of audio, I have ordered 5 paperbacks on Amazon - one for me to have at hand and write notes ; and the other 4 as gifts. I anticipate buying more of these to give away as gifts. I also loved that it was read by the author.
Thank you for writing this! ❤️

Suggestions to the author - (please know I'm making suggestions because I loved your book and I hope it becomes a big hit) :
1. I wish there was a study book to go along with this book, for small group studies etc. This is too good!
2. You are a great narrator and the material is great, so I think this audio book deserves a professional recording. I'm not sure the circumstances of where / how this was recorded, but there's a slight background echo throughout the recording, as well as background noise at times. You can tell it was not recorded in a professional environment.
3. As much as quotes make sense in writing, as you mention scriptures etc, it gets extremely distracting during the audio, to hear you say the words "quote / end quote". I believe that, when reading the passages, you can just mention them /continue to read without saying "quote / end quote" (because once you mention the scripture after the sentence we know you are quoting). I encourage you to check on this and follow what makes the most sense to professional audio books narration. I am confident that this book will become a big success and that you will record a professional version of this in the future! 😀

Take Some Time to Listen and Grow into God’s Plan

I’m an entrepreneur, who likes being busy. I get excited when I have a full plate and usually find myself always looking for the next “Big Thing”

This last year, I’ve distanced myself from God and tried doing things with my own strength. Time after time, I’ve seen my plans fail and wasn’t taking the time to listen to what God has planned for me.

“He Sat Down (So You Can Too) has reminded me that God is in control and we need to slow down in this busy world to fully hear him.

This is a great read/listen for anyone but this highly recommend any entrepreneur to give this a listen.

Sit down, relax, and listen to what God has in store for you. This book is a great reminder of how distracted we get trying to “win” in this evil world rather than listen and grow into the people god has planned for us.
