About this listen

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

The allies could sneak a fleet behind enemy lines and destroy the infrastructure the Overlords were using to push them to the brink of existence. As long as the allied fleet didn’t get trapped and obliterated, everything would be great.

But they got trapped and obliterated.

Now, the remains of the allied fleet are on the run, with one of the largest Overlord carrier forces ever seen in pursuit. With few allied carriers and fighters remaining, there is nowhere for them to run and nowhere to hide. When they stop, though, one thing is certain—it will be their final stand. For if the Overlord force breaks through them, there is nothing to stop it from driving all the way to Earth and the other home planets and wiping them out for good.

It's going to take a miracle to save Uplink Squadron and the rest of the fleet. A miracle...or Heaven’s Angels.

Lots of action!

I’ve listened to all books in this series (audio) so far, this addition is one of my favorites. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue with the series after first couple of books due to Luke Daniel’s narration - I, personally, find his style grating and “cartoonish”. However, as soon as Mark Boyett replaced him, I was all in. This book has a lot more action as well as character growth. The only thing I don’t like is Jaminez’ SI “Dayu”. Dayu (spelling?) seems to be getting dumber with each book. Have no idea why one of the best characters was saddled with such useless baggage - i.e. Dayu. Frustrating….

A very good book

The story was amazing, I have followed this series since the first release and cannot wait for the next book to be out, Mark Boyett did a very good job narrating the story

Great story

Loved it and can't wait for the next book to release. Up-Link Squadron is one of the few stories that has continued to captivate my full attention while listening to it. The only thing you'll regret is when the series ends but hopefully, that's not for a while.
