An Affinity.

Most humans never get one, but the Goddess gives everyone the opportunity when they turn 16.

With an Affinity, humans are given access to their internal energy and skills. Magical powers that allow you to interact with the world in ways you could never imagine.

When Terrence receives his Affinity, he is shocked to discover it has never been seen before within the kingdom. Worse yet, his Affinity reinforces the thing he was made fun of for his entire life. His weight.

Follow Terrence as he uses his Affinity to progress with the hopes of becoming a dungeoneer - someone who explores and conquers dungeons.

Discover a unique world where Terrence and his friends learn about their new abilities, their Affinities, and themselves.

Their skills will grow, and if they work hard enough, they might eventually rank up!

Young Adult decent book.

It is definitely lacking the in excitement department. It felt like the prequel to the series where he kind of starts to find out who he is. The book kind of just stops at an awkward point and I would have thought the books should have been bundled as a series or at least 1/2 and 3/4. Much easier to spend a credit when you get more than 8 hours o lf listening.

Decent story

okay so this is more a slice of life than adventure since you pretty get the town bullies, making friends on the way to a school, making more friends at school and well learning. there only like 2 fights on the whole book and one of them is just the uncle showing the mc how to hunt monsters and the other is the uncle fighting with his group of adventures

Not good not bad just a okay YA book

I don't have many problems for new with this series but so things are wort a mark. Early one the MC feels like a 10 year old boy not the 16 year old young man that he is, however this do change after he enter the school and learn more about the world, I can only hope he grows up fast to match his actual age. The last ting is that this book gave me the feeling of being half a book.

Fun little book to listen to

Although the story isn’t super unique but it still really sucks you win. The main character is A bit of a twist on things. It feels a bit like a Harry Potter mixed in with some of the dungeon genre. Good book overall

Half a actual book.

Prologue was painful to sit through. no middle or end to either plot line. only saving grace is the narrator and sequels exist that may make a complete story instead of this half finished one.

Young adult book but ok

It started a bit to young for me then I kept on listening due to not being able to get another book where I was at. The book has grown on me so know I'm curious about the dungeon dive. Who would have thought, so I'm going to purchase the next book. There ya go.

The language is very unrealistic

The stilted and forced dialogue sounds very fake. A lot of very boring dialogue forced in as filler.

Meh

Struggling to finish, but now that I'm so far in audible new return policy won't let me return it. Very confusing book with other points of view. Possible I will continue onto the next, because I can't figure out what to listen to.
