D and T-glottalization

Narrator had an annoying habit of not pronouncing T and D sounds. Story needed dragged on.

Hard to follow

Although I’m a big Kate Fox fan, I did not care for this character. I thought the story was hard to follow and left unanswered questions.

not as good as Kate Fox

Loved Kate Fox, but can't get into this. Love narrator, but dinunt and woununt are not English words - very distracting.

Annoying narrator

Didn’t care for the narrator. She didn’t pronounce t’s and d’s. Story hard to follow. Listening to 2nd book in series and it is much better.

The bad pronunciation was distracting!!!!

The narrators pronunciation of couldn’t shouldn’t wouldn’t didn’t etc was very distracting. Happy there is a different reader for the next 2 books in this series.

Narration was TERRIBLE

Narration was so bad I almost returned this one! Also needed some editing-an hour before the end age read “he put his chin on his forehead”, not sure how one would do that.

Reader needs a speech therapist

The story was alright but predictable, characters were interesting. I would have hoped that there is someone who listens to the audio before it is published. There was a few mispronounced words which I can ignore, but the most annoying was the reader did not pronounce the "d" in couldn't, wouldn't, didn't, or any similar contraction. I know this is a small issue, but after a while, it was like water torture.

Height of deception

I think that the story was dragged out an Nora was per traded as defiant and single minded. I like the story line of the Indians but was disappointed in it
