Publisher's summary

Visit Fairy and prove I can survive among them...Who’s horrid idea was that again?

I’m hellbent on proving I’m Fae enough to live amongst my father’s people. It’s vital I learn about my magic, and the ways of Fairy. But no one told me learning to be a Fae princess would be so life threatening.

My lineage sets me apart from the high Fae, but if my Unseelie cousin doesn’t accept me into the court, it might just be the death of me. My mortal life is on the line, and unless I learn to trust the new people who claim to have my best interests at heart, these creatures they keep throwing at me will win, and I’ll be dead.

I’ve got my wits, my raw power, and my sheer determination to show them I’m here to stay. And I mean business. With Greyson protecting me, even when he’s annoying me, I just might have a chance.

But first, I’ll have to face something more frightening than the minefield of Fae laws. Belonging to someone who loves me enough to fight for my heart.

Good book

This book is just as good as the first and moves the story along nicely. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Need book 3 ASAP!

Book 2 doesn't disappoint! The performance is great and Morgan keeps coming into her own more and more. It's not all roses and rainbows either...the story develops some interesting dynamics that make you want to keep listening to see what happens. Can't wait for book 3!

Fox Fairy

Heir of Storm by D.D. Miers and Graceley Knox continues with Grayson and Morgana's story. I was engrossed listening to this book 2 of the series and looking forward to the next. Astrid Morgan was great bringing the characters to life with her voice. The authors were great with their imagery and I could envision so many details.

Great story

This is the second book in the Half-Blood Huntress chronicles and we listen as Morgana tries to find her place in the world in the fae court. Morgana deserves so much better. Love the inner workings of the relationships in this series. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters to life with her voice

Morgan and Grayson are back!!

Morgan and Grayson are back for a brand new adventure. Book 2 was great! I loved every minute and the narrator did an amazing job like last time. I was so excited to listen to book 2 to find out what would happen to Morgan and Grayson. This story was full of action and drama that it keeps you hooked until the very end.

Morgan finally makes it to Fairy, only to realize, its the same ole story. Her cousin and most of the High Fae don't accept her as the true heir and want her dead. Again, Morgan has to fight to survive, but doesn't really care about being the heir to Fairy. She cares about saving the the wild magic the low fairies provide and about saving her friend, Pen, who was attacked while in Fairy with Morgan. Gray and Morgan clash throughout the story because both are so independent and strong, which was a bit annoying sometimes (because I wanted more romance when they were together), but both realize they still love each other, but can never be true partners if both are pushing for control. So many things happened in this book and can't wait to see if, Morgan will accept Grayson's ultimatum and how will Morgan deal with her new power in book 3.

Great story, even without seeing the first

This was the first book I listened to/read in the series and while I missed out on some things (like character development and so on with what happened in first book but) I still fully enjoyed listening to the novel.

This novel follows Morgana as she tries to adjust to living in Fairy with her Fae relatives At the start it talks about how she keeps getting challenged and they always pick magic while she wont (which you can find out why when you get this book).

Narrator does a good job, the accents are a nice touch in the characters she uses it with.

Another great addition to this series.

Trying to find her place in the world and in the fae court Morgana must figure out who she can trust and who wants to use her. I've learned through the book to dislike Gray more and more, Morgana deserves so much better. Fast paced with many things going on keeping you engrossed and wanting to finish the book as fast as you can. Can't wait to read book three.

A little slower than the first...

It was a good story but I will says that I liked the first book better. The storyline was good and had something thing in the fey world that I hadn't read in other books. Sadly I will say that I found myself ok with putting the book down and coming back later. I just couldn't get in tune with Morgan and Grayson just kept irritating me with his I'm a alpha flow me grrr. I am not sure how old Morgan was but even with her mentioning sex she almost seem like a teenager who not come into herself. Since the first book was of a different court I'm assuming they will all tie in together at some point so of course you will have other characters that you like more. I not sure what I really felt like I was missing but it was just that something extra that makes me say damn that was a good book.

Great continuation of the series!

Loved getting more of Morgan and Grayson in this story. Morgan has to deal with her Fae side and her father as well as how to master her Fae magic. She keeps having to fight duels that her cousin is encouraging and giving them ways to cheat but Morgan is not one to be underestimated. Morgan has to figure out where her place is and what it means to be a Fae princess along with dating the alpha. This is a really fast paced story with a lot of action and choices for Morgan to make. I definitely want the next book and to see what Morgan will do next.
