About this listen

The alpha rejecting me was just the start of my revenge….

Being an outcast of the wolves was always something I accepted until I met them. The four alpha wolves of Fall Mountain Pack. They showed me I could be so much more than the rejected wolf they found on a beach and saved. They healed me and made me stronger, fixing what was broken in my soul.

But they lied.

Dragged back to the Ravensword Pack, I learn who I am before being left in the hands of the alpha I ran from, starting a war no one can stop. The past that I couldn’t remember has caught up with us, and it turns out they were always a part of it. They aren’t just alpha wolves and our fates are as intertwined as Hades and Persephone’s were.

I never thought being rejected would lead me to my past, but it has, and my past comes with more than a bite.

It comes with wings.

This is a full-length reverse harem romance novel full of sexy alpha males, steamy scenes, a strong heroine and a lot of sarcasm. Intended for mature listeners.

Good sequel, already devoured book 3!

Book 2 starts up with Mai kidnapped by one of the evil angels and taking her back to the alpha who rejected her and left her for dead in the first place. We get to see how even worse off she is treated by the royal db@g and how they mistreat other wolves in the pack. I hope they can somehow get Jesper out successfully before he is brainwashed too much! I was ready to rip Phim a new one, but she turns out alright/I will hold my judgement a bit haha.

Once Mai is able to get back to her new family, we get to see their life in their new environment and I thought the concept was really really intriguing and I loved how it all worked and how the author described the various sections/how the wolves come together/the cliques and food situation. Really great job by the author to create this new sub-world. I loved seeing some of the side characters (especially our wolfy friend haha). We then get to go to a new part of this world and meet some interesting new characters haha. I looooove the new addition to the group, he was great. I liked seeing the different culture and getting more of a sense of this world and the politics they are living with. I liked the battles, it was good to see Mai hold her own and bridge that gap with Phim more. The ending....what the WHAAAAAT. It killed me. I remember reading this when it first came out and wanting to chuck my kindle. Glad the rest of the series is out now haha.

I will say one of the main reasons I didn't give the story 5 stars like I did for book 1 was because I felt Mai changed a bunch and was very forgiving after everything she went through. Like I get she went through a lot of torture but she lost her backbone and spunk when it came to the 4 alphas and like showed her belly and like forgot everything that happened real quick. I just wish she had held out more and really made them earn her forgiveness back. Overall still enjoyed, a solid 4/5 stars.

Narration was good by both performers, especially Bridget while Mai was with her horrible former pack. I felt her terror, frustration, and pain. Great job! We got to hear more from Jake this go around, did a good job with his narration as well (again didnt connect as much as I did with Bridget's performances). I would give them again a solid 4/5 stars ❤️ Already went on to listen to book 3 on audio and can't wait for more!

Awesome listen

I loved it, I feel like some of it was dragging on a bit. but between the voices and overall story line I loved it. I listened to the first and second book in just a few days. if I closed my eyes I could really picture the whole world they were living in. I can't wait for the third book.

Gods, Angels and Wolves

I love how different this story is. It is a bit of a greek god retelling, with shifters and devious angels.
